We ate here over the weekend, celebrating a birthday. It was delicious! I really liked their salsa. I also got a margarita and it was delicious. For our meal I got a shrimp dish with mushrooms and my husband got the carne asada plate. We both loved our food, and the service was great, everything came out very fast! We loved it and would return.

I've eaten at the baja mar food truck for years, and always loved the food, but just recently tried their new location downtown. Couldn't expect anything better from either of them! While dining at the downtown location our server was very polite and prompt, and the food, as always was spectacular. There's not many places in a landlocked state you can get seafood fresh and clean tasting as baja mar!

As we were walking in Downtown Flagstaff looking for lunch options we were drawn to Baja Mar by the Latin music and friendly owners that greeted us. The family owned and operated restaurant opened last year after having years of food industry experience. The menu had a focus on seafood but many other choices, including a yummy house margarita. My husband had a carne asada plate with fresh flour tortilla’s, rice and beans and I had Cameron shrimp plate with fresh corn tortillas that was the owners mothers recipe that I will order next time I visit. After spending years in the service business, I would rate the overall experience very high. We will let all our friends know where to eat when the visit Flagstaff!

Authentic mexican food done right! I ordered a battered fish taco and a crispy barbacoa taco and both were delicious. In our party, we also ordered ordered oysters on the half shell, a fish burrito and shrimp tacos, all were so good! Their authentic salsas were also excellent, I especially liked the guacamole sauce. They are located in the heart of down town, with a great bar and outdoor patio. Highly recommend Baja Mar!

We were disappointed with our food after all of the positive reviews on Google. I got a governor taco shrimp taco and Carne Asada taco and the shrimp tacos were just horrible. The Carne Asada one was OK. My boyfriend got a Carne Asada burrito and it was like mush. The Horchata was just water. Overall, we were just disappointed.
Truly DELICIOUS! And a great price for generous portions, especially the quesadilla. Shrimp quesadilla is fantastic- not a traditional super cheesy one, but crispy cheese fried into the flour tortilla then loaded up like a giant soft taco with the filling and crisp fresh veg/chipotle Mayo. So good!

I was bummed the food truck wasn't a thing anymore, but hey, I know where to find them now!!! Their food is really great and the ceviche is AWESOME! We got the seafood burrito, fish tacos, ceviche and carne asada quesadilla...all tasted delicious. The line out the door at chick-fil-a doesn't know what they're missing just a bit further east. So good!

Ate outside Offered shrimp appetizers grilled instead of breaded. Lemonade blackberry Margareta drinks were amazing. Didn't feel rushed and enjoyed our lunch and drinks. Friendly wait staff.
