After hours in the snow with the family, we walked in with a party of 12. We were worried that they might not be able to accommodate our group, but the staff were so resourceful and quickly made sure we were all comfortable. The staff were so polite, they consistently checked on us and the food was amazing! I loved the cowboy burger, and my kids loved their food, too. Everyone at our table loved their food, and we even got to try each other's dishes, and this place doesn't miss. We are definitely coming back here.

We have been coming to Basecamp (and Ski Lift Lodge as it was previously) for more than 20 years. In the last six months it is, by far, the best it has ever been. The food and service has been consistently good which is very unusual for Flagstaff.I hope the senior leadership reads these reviews because I think they have a potential superstar employee - Micayla. Micayla genuinely cares about providing excellent service. My wife ordered a martini, Micayla had never made one, but did an outstanding job making hers. The next time we went in she had ordered martini glasses for the bar.Snowbowl executive team - If there is a leadership training program, Micayla would be a candidate worth considering.

This was a nice experience. The bed was a bit small and lumpy but the atmosphere is very quaint. We didn't get to try the restaurant.

Management is very unprofessional. In addition they fraudulently charged my card. When I contacted them to get it resolved I was hung up on twice. Very disappointing.

Food was timely, hot, fresh and inexpensive. The atmosphere was lovely with live music on the weekends so everybody was in a good mood. We recieved frequent refills. The place is open until 10 pm for a quick bite. Thank you to the supervisor for such a good experience!

So this review is for hotel and restaurant. Both of which get 5 stars. No it's not the Ritz Carlton but we weren't expecting that. What we got was perfect! Rustic, simple, quaint wooden cabin with a porch. Nice and friendly staff. Restaurant had live music and great food? Love this place and will absolutely be back!

Great place to have drinks/appetizers or an actual dinner. I was impressed with the presentation/taste of the food. The live entertainment was nice as well. Ryan did an awesome job of taking care of us. We will be back.

I don't give reviews, really, but this was an exception. The rooms were clean and roomier than I expected. Everyone was so nice. I haven't read any of the other reviews, but I was surprised by the lower ratings. It's close to Flagstaff and an hour and half to the Grand Canyon. For us it was perfect. We've already recommended it to others.

Cabin was comfortable, quiet, minutes away from Flagstaff, about an hour from The Grand Canyon. Surrounded by lots of pine trees. Our cabin water pressure was very low and it took a while for hot water to flow out. Fireplace was appreciated because of the cold nights. Comfortable bed. Restaurant food was good, right across parking lot, only open in the afternoon/evenings. Would definitely go back and stay there again.

This is a review of both the basecamp lodge and basecamp restaurant. I'll start with the restaurant. The staff was friendly and they can accommodate large groups. Prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of food. Great happy hour! I had low expectations because let's admit, bar food is never really awesome... I have now changed my opinion, ALL the food was FANTASTIC! We started with fried pickles, sliders and pretzels. All three listed were the BEST I've ever had anywhere and I'm a FOODIE! Blew my mind! Then I ordered the steak salad. It was also fantastic. The food was made with good, fresh ingredients. Everyone else at the table loved their food as well. I had the Margarita and it was a bit too sweet but a nice heavy pour. 5 stars for the restaurant. Now on to the lodge... we reserved a 2 queen room. When we walked in the room was clean but they were not regular queen sized beds. They were more like a full size. The pillows were the size of throw pillows. So disappointing and uncomfortable. There was a 1.5 inch gap above the door that could let bugs in. Screen was cut off one window so we couldn't let fresh air in without bugs. Bathroom had no counter space at all and the toilet had no lid so if you put something on the back of the toilet it could fall in. Shower was terrible. Barely any water pressure. Water in tub didn't drain so you're standing in dirty bath water. So much was wrong with this room. It was a 1 star for sure. Gave an over all rating of 3 because the food at the restaurant was amazing. Basically what I'm saying is... Eat here; Don't sleep here! LOL
