As truckers we've been looking for the opportunity to find the right place to spend New Years eve 2022! We found it at Black Bart's Steak House!

The food was not up to par. My husband ordered the filet, ordered med rare. For a $55 steak you’d expect it to be edible, it was not. My chicken which was smoked with herbs, had not taste no flavor to the inside of the chicken. The sourdough biscuits need some help. We ordered dessert to go. I ordered the apple crumble, and my husband the cheesecake. The apples were hard and had a terrible aftertaste. The “crust” on the bottom was burnt, and the “crumble” on top? Only hard as a rock brown sugar. We each ordered 1 drink, our meal and dessert total: $165. Not worth it. And that is in their off season. If we were driving back that way I’d drop my dessert off.

We visited after long drive from Las Vegas through Grand Canyon. We were exhausted but staff were nice and food were classic it makes us charged a lot.
Recommend you to visit if you visit Grand Canyon or Flagstaff. We didnt make reservation but if you know about schedule I think it is better to make a reservation:)

I brought friends on a 300 mile trip today expecting the same great food and hospitality as previous visits. I was careful to check the days and hours online before convincing them the experience was well worth the wait. We arrived at 8 pm. The dining room had two tables of guests seated, one with small children scampering about. The stage was lit with performers singing, all appeared pleasant. The Maître d' stepped through a side door and to my surprise stated we were too late to be served. I checked the advertised hours online again to be certain we were not mistaken (9 pm) then expressed my dismay they refused to serve our party this evening. Apparently they do not adhere to posted times. I was embarrassed and disappointed. We crossed the street and found a nice dinner at Little America in their formal dining room. Again....so disappointed in Black Barts unwillingness to accommodate us well within posted hours of operation.
