Been coming here since a kid and will continue to bring my kids here. This place is a staple of town and the burgers never disappoint! They've even gotten bigger. Service and staff are always extremely friendly.

Great burgers!! Service was great too. The cashier that took our order was exceptionally kind.

This is a burger place with a kitchen that runs like a fine dining restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyable.

A great local burger spot! Don't forget to get silverware because these burgers are huge and pcked with toppings, easy 2 meals on the California Burger

The service was easily the best I've ever experienced in Flagstaff, prices were to be expected. However for the price it's actually a good burger unlike most places in town.

Delicious, large bacon burger. Live the wooden box seats...justblike The Chuckbox in Tempe... same owners? Same history?

My family and I grew up going to Bunhuggers, we loved it! Always looked forward to great food and a great family atmosphere! It’s sad that I have to come on here. Yes under new management/ownership, the changes made make me not want to come here. They took my 2 favorite meals off the menu, the Sonoran steak sandwich, along with the fiesta chicken sandwich. Not only that, the service was terrible, we walked in and had to use the self service ordering device not greeted once.(also not able to pay cash if I wanted to). Because the 2 people working are too busy trying to keep up with cooking orders on a slow night! Would hate to come here on a busy night! They cut corners and I can tell, as a former employee and avid foodie. They changed all the wrong things under new management. Bunhuggers used to be infamous for their charcoal broiled burgers that were hand made patties every day, well I’m here to tell you, you will not get a charcoal broiled burgers here, they replaced the stove with gas burner stove. The plate my burger came on is almost smaller than the burger itself, you don’t even want to get me started on the food, the buns are smaller than the patties, they are also not soft. The fried zucchini is frozen, not hand battered, they used to have own topping bar, which was wonderful. It’s gone. Everything used to be made fresh, fresh patties in the morning, fresh cut French fries from potatoes, pickles, they were cut fresh, tomatoes, cut fresh.. who knows here anymore. Don’t bother unless you wanna wait 45 minutes+ for 3 meals and spend nearly 100$ in the process. I knew almost every worker in here for 10 years. They let them all go. Not a familiar face in sight, I presume so they don’t have to pay these college kids anything but minimum wage. I’m not usually one to write reviews but I had to when it comes to a restaurant in the home town that I used to love coming too. This is no longer a bucket list place. What a shame.

It is not the same, Burger patties taste like they came straight out of the box onto the grill. The zucchini, straight out of the bag into the fryer. The former taste of bun huggers is all but a memory.

I've eaten at Bun Huggers as long as I can remember. Moved to AZ in 1976. This is NOT the Bun Huggers of yesteryear. Dinky burgers on dinky buns, horrendous wait time for food when the place isn't busy at all. AMF. Will never go back. Thanks for the memories, of yesteryear😕

Bun huggers has been the go to place for decades. However...the new management has decided to hire children bartenders that have absolutely no idea of how to be a bartender. And the bar basically sits empty because of this. They are running buns into the ground. Hire beautiful bartenders and not kids.

Arrived as a family of 5 to grab some "charcoal broiled" burgers. What we got was 2 burnt ones, 1 raw one, over fried zucchini and sweet potato tots. My kids got chicken nuggets and a hot dog...chicken nuggets were the frozen kind and heavily over fried and the hot dog was this pathetic thing on an old bun that was hard as a rock.
There is no quality control and simply put, the cooks shouldn't have been back there. I know this place probably gets tons of business because theyre right off the main street, but at $14 a burger (no sides), you'd expect them to actually care about their food. After telling them about the burnt burgers and the raw one (not to mention the pinch of grilled onions they added for the dollar upcharge) the cook went back there to remake them and after waiting a good amount of time I went to check in and saw him cutting them open to see if they were done....USE A THERMOMETER IF YOU CAN'T TELL! Don't cut open a burger fresh off the grill because you cant tell if its done or not. Probably the worse thing you can do to a hungry family is serve them terrible food at a premium price...only thing worse than that was trying to do it again during the same trip. We got a refund and were out of there.
