This place is dear to my heart, I drove into Flagstaff with a half a tank of gas and $16. To my name. I spotted The China Garden just before closing time, placed my order but card declined so I removed the dumplings I had ordered. They kindly walked my order to my car and informed me that I was officially there last customer, for that moment was there last as the restaurant has been sold, oh and they threw in my dumplings on the house then asked me if I wanted an Oreo cupcake. Customer service is quickly becoming a thing of the past, no more "Can I check your oil mam?" Or trust in another and selfless generosity. It sure was nice to feel good in that momentThank you China Garden for 30 years of your exceptional service and outstanding food
Came here frequently, for years when I lived in the area. I love the sesame chicken! The meals have great portions, and the food is really good. Their tea is great too!
It's my first time back in 26 years. The kitchen looked very clean. Server's were very polite and kind and careful about my food allergies. It is a bit higher than some places just a little bit but you get alot of food. I wound up with at least two meals for me and a snack. It was tastey not super greasy. Even without garlic. And onion the cashew chicken had delicious flavor and the dumplings are lovely
Amazing service delicious food! Came here with my wife and got the Dinner A combo we definitely could have split it because they give you plenty of food! My favorite is the egg flower soup you get with the combo. We will be back again and again!
Huge portions for amazing price. Family feast! Fried shrimp is incredible. BBQ Pork Appetizer is great. Sweet & Sour sauce here is amazing. Anything Sweet & Sour is incredible. The rice is cooked perfectly. Fresh & hot food. I didn't like the Green Tea. Egg Drop is flavorless, but packed with eggs! The Sesame Seed chicken is okay. It had good flavor, but the chicken was chewy. I wasn't a fan of The Kung Pao Chicken. The veggies were hard. Small place. Friendly staff. Very quiet.. Very quiet....
Very authentic Chinese food. They have a separate Chinese menu for the real adventurers. All food is very good for a great price!!! They pay attention to your order and service you properly. Bringing your appetizer at the right time. And your food nice and hot!
Ordered 2 Egg Foo young and egg flower soup to go, drove home 20 mi and was absolutely horrible. Their. Version of Egg Foo Yung was a bunch of vegetables with a scrambled egg on top and the sauce was horrible , watery and tasteless. Took bk to restaurant next day and owner refused to refund my $ said I ate some. She was rude and wanted to give more soup that was tasteless and oily. The tofu was fine but poor customer service. Lost 3 regular customers
The food was fantastic and well priced! Service was a bit on the slower side as there was only one server during dinner, but that is to be expected. My wife and I recently moved to Flagstaff and this has quickly become our favorite Chinese restaurant!
I meant to write this yesterday but I forgot. Finishing the leftovers reminded me to comment on how good it was! We had the crab puffs, beef chow mein and General Tsos chicken and all were delicious! We will be back soon.
This restaurant is not fancy, its small, but it looks clean and food was good. We ordered fried dumplings as appetizer, combination fried rice, combination fried noodles, and pepper steak with vegetable fried rice. Everything was serve hot, well presented and very good flavor. When I go on vacation, I like to eat in local places, where everyone in the area commonly go, and this is what this restaurant is. The fried dumplings were delicious and the steak was very tender. This restaurant is located in Flagstaff which it is around 40 minutes from Sedona. Its about 80$ for 6 people.

I believe that every time you go to a restaurant, you will have different experiences. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. My Beef Chow Mein and the Hot and Sour soup were delicious, but the Egg Drop Soup tasted like chicken noodle soup, and our tea was served warm, and it didn't taste good. I will continue trying different dishes, though.
Guy that took order was short and impatient. When we picked up the order he had an attitude. The order was incorrect; asked for spicy veg&beef, was not spicy; asked for spicy oil and chopsticks, got none. Vegetables and egg rolls were soggy. Thought if the guy taking the order was that arrogant the food would be good, Nope.
Ordered delivery. Food arrived over an hour after the quoted delivery time. Items were missing. What was delivered was cold and subpar at best.
Food was fantastic. Came out fast. Will be back.
Ordered war wonton soup. It's my favorite comfort soup ever except for here. The soup base was off white and the wonton was mushy congealed almost slimmy. Very disgusting.....They need to remove it from their menu and throw out what's frozen and in their kitchen. Sorry but it was that bad. The lemon chicken and fried rice was good. Based on the soup I would never go back -5 star but the lemon chicken was good. Caution.
