Overall amazing experience. The staff was very warm and welcoming. They waited on our table very attentively. Steve, One of the owners came over and spoke with us for a while. The patrons were also very friendly and respectful. The food was on point. Not too much msg and they had drinks on tap included in the price. For what you pay you can't even get anything close at subway. Great variety of fresh food. Nothing was cold or just sitting there for too long

Pretty cool restaurant.Never seen this friendly price in Chinese Buffet.I have tried many different Chinese Buffet in CA , Florida , Vegas , Georgia, Washington, even in Canada.But this restaurant is one of the Premium Buffet.1 Adult price still cover 9 different drinks,never seen that !!!Also for the special offer : Buffalo Chicken Wing , BBQ Beef Ribeye’s Bone , Cajun Seafood , Pepperoni Pizza, Super Egg drop soup , Seasoned Big Shrimp, etc.All staffs nice & kind when service.Especially for the manager , so cool and humorous boy , always with sweet smiling.Perfect Service !!!Gonna be back again when vacation in flagstaff.Vegetarian options: Seasoned salad with kind of vegetables & fruitsKid-friendliness: Always nice for kids with patience

I never leave one star reviews, but this one was well deserved. Beyond disappointed with my family's experience at this restaurant. I paid nearly ninety dollars for two adults and three children. There were minimal choices. All of the chicken was burnt and over cooked. We were left disgusted and disappointed by each item we tried. The cleanliness of the environment was questionable. I am honestly concerned we may end up with food poisoning. I desperately wish I had not wasted the time or money. Will never return here again.

I don't get the bad reviews. It's a 14$ all you can eat dinner buffet that includes a drink in a city with a 18$/hr minimum wage. Food was fresh and tasted good. What else can you ask for? Plus they had an ice cream machine!!

This place has really good all you can eat Chinese buffet always hot always fresh. The atmosphere is lacking though it's very steamy and very hot inside and kinda of sticky. It is really good food but probably some of the least cordial or friendly employees I would have to say.
I have eaten at many Chinese buffets, this is a very sad attempt at a buffet. They may have 20 items on the buffet. Food tasted terrible. The only part of eating here that I enjoyed was the fish tank. 10/10 Do not recommend!!!!!

I really wanted to enjoy China Star but I am not feeling well after having lunch here. Possibly the food? Don't know but I won't return. The host/cashier greeted customers warmly which was an unexpected surprise given that the restaurant is sparse on atmosphere, outdated and there's no real service: my server brought water and cleared the table but seemed hesitant to communicate. Plus side: egg drop soup, plenty of wonton, fish with tasty tartar sauce, good chicken but now that my gut is queasy, all foods are suspect. ;-(

My server was balancing between 10 tables in his section, clearing tables, getting drinks, and rolling silverware, and yet he got around to me every 10 minutes or so, and didn't rush me even though I stayed a while. The food was really good, too, I was full and still wanted more. Overall, really good experience, I'll be coming again
