Terrible customer service. Blonde girl with glasses was not courteous at all. After she served us, our first spoonful of ice cream had a long hair in it. We made her aware and she just grabbed it walked away and remade it with less ice cream. Once finished she walked back over to the cashier and slid the ice cream over. No apology, no comment. Just a smaller serving with a side of attitude. Were from out of town and have been pleasantly surprised at how nice everyone in flagstaff is. This girl is the exception. Only negative interaction we’ve had in our time here. We came in at around 8 on 10/19/25.

I am writing a review specifically about the pale skin girl with platinum blonde hair and black square glasses.
I came in on 10/19/25 at 8:00pm.

I just ate dinner in town and wanted dessert and wanted cold stone creamery for their boo batter ice cream. I am from Dallas, Tx and have been staying in Flagstaff for a week. I thought down in Texas we did southern hospitality, but the whole time I’ve been here everyone has been so kind and friendly! - until TODAY.

Anyway, I came in for ice cream here. The only time I’ve tried the boo batter ice cream was back at home as a sample and i regretted not getting it.

I really wanted it and I remember the lady back in Texas said you can mix in inclusions (the pre made selections from the wall) in one of the ice creams.

So I came in knowing what I wanted: the one smart brookie inclusions, with the boo batter ice cream base.

So on their menu: a build your own in size “I like it” / small.

When I walked up to order there was no greeting just a stare at me. Blank flat stare. I said hi could I get the “witches boo” and she said oh we actually can’t make shakes right now.

I didn’t mean to order that, so I said sorry and went to order the boo batter ice cream taco with the one smart brookie inclusions.

She then said that the tacos come premade so I wouldn’t be able to get any inclusions.

Cool did not know that so I just wanted the boo batter ice cream with inclusions in a small cup.

She seemed so annoyed that I wanted to customize my ice cream instead of order a premade selection????

She made it and slid the cup on the counter and checked us out.

My bf paid.

I grabbed the cup and took a small bite. Went in for another scoop with my spoon and a medium length blonde hair came out of the ice cream!!!!!

I held it up and everyone in the shop was staring at me.

We approached the counter to tell her and she didn’t even apologize 😂 she just grabbed the cup from me and remade it but it was smaller than the first one.

Not even a “sorry about that” “anything I can do about it?”

Just handed it to us.

Crazy work.

Wouldn’t recommend this location to locals or tourists.

Tried to go in door was unlocked. They weren't open yet. The employee in charge was very rude. Don't go here rude employees and high prices

FOR KARENS, THEY DO THAT BIT FOR NOCE PEOPLE THEY DONT THROW IN OM THERE A DOESN'T MIX THEM UP ITS ON FOR NOCE PEOPLE THAT ARE THERE!!...

Dropped $60 on Coldstone for all the ingredients not to be mixed together, and it looked like it was just thrown in the bowl. Ended up re-mixing it myself at home. Had I known it would be a diy, I could have just baked a cake and threw some ice cream on it, smh.

Wouldn't take my coconino hs discount card. No explanation at all. Owner keeps dodging my calls. What a joke. I'd rather make my own ice cream then deal with this incompetent owner.

Incredible. I just love their ice cream!!! I don't know why someone leaves bad reviews, apparently they haven't tried ice cream in other places. But I have tried ice cream in different countries and places and this is definitely one of the best ice creams!!!!!

The team here is always friendly and they tackle their rushes pretty effectively. However, the last two times I went here they were cleaning during a rush. This is something they've got to do I recognize that, but the air was full of cleaner smell and irritated my throat. I'd recommend that moving forward this establishment should avoid using glass cleaner on the display glass if there are customers present. I'd also recommend cleaning the tables with something that doesn't aersolize so strongly, maybe just hot water and dish soap. Maybe some of this cleaning can wait til after closing or before opening, management give your staff time to do so if this is the issue.
