What I liked: a grass fed burger on a gluten-free English muffin with quality toppings, cooked to temp, with expectations being set by signage all around the entrance and ordering area; the fries are never frozen and are cooked in peanut oil, which for me is preferable to canola or other seed oils; getting a cash discount and tipping the cow! The food was fantastic! The indoor seating has high-top copper tables, which can leave a metallic aroma on your hands or bare arms, so we sat outside at a wooden low-top shared with a great couple and their fur-baby. It was wonderful!!

By far the best burgers in a 100 mile radius. Never disappointed, always cooked to perfection.

Super disappointing experience. I ordered The Monk burger and it was empty (see photo). My husband returned because he thought the restaurant gave us the wrong order since the menu says the burgers come standard with toppings. All they gave him was the toppings they forgot, so now I’m adding toppings to a cold burger. I will not be back.

Excellent burgers, I got the Blake which had chopped hatch chilis and a delicious sauce. Burger was cooked perfectly and the English muffin really held together. Husband got a burger with bacon and cheese and really enjoyed it! Fries were delicious. Service was super friendly, everyone we came across was so nice. We almost skipped because we were discouraged that it seemed a little busy (I was hangry) but so glad we stopped. This place should definitely be rated higher.

We stopped at Diablo Burger on our way from Monument Valley to Las Vegas, extremely hungry and expecting a great burger. What we got instead was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.

The burgers were tiny – the size of a Happy Meal. The patty was shaped like a meatball, served on a flimsy branded bun. The sauces were barely noticeable and nearly identical in taste. Fries were oversalted beyond edible. The tomato slice and pickles were randomly placed on the fries instead of on the burger. There was no cutlery offered, making the tiny fries hard to eat.

The copper-covered tables smelled strongly of metal, so much so that our arms still smelled later in the car – disturbing and unhygienic. Add to that loud death metal music and a freezing cold air conditioner. Cozy? Not at all.

With this level of discomfort and poor food, we honestly wonder how this place gets so many good reviews. Something doesn’t feel right.

Would never return. One star is generous.

Hamburgers are delicious and juicy. Fries are tasty with rosemary and thyme. Good customer service.

I have been wanting to try Diablo burger for a while because of the pictures and while the atmosphere is impeccable and comforting, the service and food were okay. Eating outside in the evening downtown was such a vibe. The service was filled with attitude by the tall girl with long hair, she cannot hide her annoyance and is frankly not great at customer service. I cannot even mention the name because she neglected to wear a name tag. The burger itself was good, the homemade sauce was good, nothing special. Overall, if you’re looking for a fun vibe and want to waste 20 dollars a burger then this is the place for you. But frankly, you can eat at many other places downtown for the same atmosphere but different and better tasting food.

We had a early dinner yesterday, the last meal we ate and my 13 yr old son is throwing up this morning, we feel nauseous. The restaurant recommended we cook our burgers at medium rare so that is what we did. We spoke to the manager (blonde hair with a nose ring) about the meat being under cooked and she said that they recommend to cook at 130 even though it’s ground beef. We asked another employee and he said it was 150. No one seemed to know what exact temperature.

Great food but terrible service. Not our problem that you’re busy or having a bad day do not take it out on your customers. Servers were all rude, and obnoxious. Ruined our meal.

These burgers are so tiny, I accidentally used the bun as a contact lens case..

These burgers are so tiny, I lost one in my pocket and thought I dropped a Tic Tac..

These burgers are so tiny, I thought the toothpick holding it together was the main course.

Small burger spot with solid meat in the center of old downtown Flagstaff. People with peanut allergies stay clear of the fries!

The burger itself was fresh and had good flavor. Cooked to order, a medium sized patty that's a bit thicker. It's served on a branded English muffin.

They fry their french fries in peanut oil, which is a shame if you have a nut allergy... Because they did look tasty. Could definitely use more allergy signage, as I almost missed the note on the menu.

Small order counter with a handful of tables inside and then a few more outside on the edge of Heritage Square.

Seems they recently changed the burger meat, does not taste like the same quality or texture as before. This to be our go to burger place.
