In March, I returned an item to Amazon at Whole Foods in Flagsaff, AZ. I want to add to the complaint that this service was a "joke" in May, 2021; I'm sorry that things went wrong in May, 2021, according to the tripadvisor letter, but my experience was quick, the staff at Whole Foods customer service was knowledgeable and courteous, I received my refund promptly. I think they have been working on this service, and it is now reliable.

My wife had a return from Amazon and was directed to take it to wholefoods here in Flagstaff which is a big joke. I understand why Amazon is starting to do this to reduce cost on handling returns. We were fortunate enough to get an employee by the name of Heidi who was wonderful to deal with; wife and I are in our 70's and very challenged by today's technology Heidi spent a lot of time with us to try and figure out how to make this return happen we finally went home and had to make a second trip across town to try this mess again. Heidi helped us again and was very patience with us and again we failed to get the stuff returned. The good part is my wife said she would try and buy from someone else before buying from Amazon so I also save money and so does Amazon. Heidi should be commended for her service and patience.

The store staff is very unfriendly,I purchased pack of the ice but before I pick the pack and leave the store I changed my mind and cashier didn’t want to give my money back and mentioning he already charged , when I asked to talk to manager, at that point he took my receipt and refunded on the ice. 2nd item that shows they are not customer oriented specially tourist oriented, I was trying to explain to manager about the way that they handle the orders in your coffee , juice section, he started to make fun at me! I am surprised with the behavior if store , I never have this experience in CA stores. I will never buy from them any more and I won’t suggest to any one else to purchase from this store. Great convenience meals including salad bar, veg bar and vegan pizza by the slice. Also ample vegan cakes, biscuits etc plus all your usual grocery needs.

I went to this store years ago when it was New Frontiers and remember loving it. I have since been to Flagstaff on several trips and always wondered what happened to that store. I didn't know the name of it, and nothing looked familiar on happy cow. On this trip I happened to find it on google and have added it to happy cow. The main entrance for the store puts you in the lovely produce section. The bulk foods section is well stocked. The salad bar is a little on the small size for a Whole Foods, but is more than adequate. There is a hot foods bar, with some vegan options, as well as a prepared foods counter and deli counter, with vegan options. There is even a growler bar, for beer refills into 64 oz glass growler bottles. I was able to find lots of other vegan foods, like chocolate, ice cream, prepared frozen foods, snacks, dairy alternatives, like nut milks and yogurts. There is a seating area with a microwave and condiments that you can use to dress up your food. This is a great place for a road trip resupply. It is often said that Whole Foods is expensive, but I find that most of there basic staple food items are affordable, especially their 365 store brand.

I liked New Frontiers. They had a deli section with many vegan options! And all the vegan deli items were quite tasty. The prices weren't bad at all and I certainly appreciated all the options. I go back to NF if I return to the area.
They had these killer vegan tamales. Then they just stopped carrying them.
They do have a lot of veg frozen foods. But way to much of that quarn brand. I hate the quarn brand because of how misleading it is. It never states that it is NOT VEGAN. But other than that it's pretty good. Very accommodating deli. Clean store too.

I was just here a little over a month ago and the place is great, its a large health food store. I was confused at first where the door was (around back) but you can get kombucha, vegan items, you name it, its a clean and brand new supermarket. Hard to beat!
