Grimaldi's Pizzeria

I’m really bummed about Grimaldi’s closing here in Flagstaff. It surely is my go to for pizza. I always have a great experience with the friendly atmosphere and great food. I will surely miss going there. 😕

Pizza was burnt and I understand it's brick oven pizza, but seriously...like eating coal dust on your pizza. We don't know if it was intentional as everyone else's pizza was not burned like ours. Service was okay, but not great. Use caution if you're brown.

We love Grimaldi’s. We miss Grimaldi’s. We use to have one by us in TX. Now we live in Tucson and supposedly that one didn’t make it. ?. Whenever we are in Flagstaff this is always a priority stop for us. My only wish for ALL Grimaldi’s is a way to keep the pizza hotter longer. It’s hot when it’s delivered to the table, but then when you go to eat your 2nd piece it has cooled off a lot.

Went there with a large group. The waiter was great, the food was fresh and hot. Probably the best Grimaldi's I have eaten it.

Here's the thing, this is NOT ny style pizza. My husband and I are from Brooklyn. Paper thin, 2 drinks and 30 bucks out. Its more neo pizza (being thin) AND marg style which means marinara and slices of mozzarella. THAT IS NOT A CHEESE PIZZA. I doubt the owner is from NY. Won't come back. Servers are kind they just don't know any better. Bit of false advertising my guy. I'd like to throw this food into the Hudson. Thanks for nothing!

This pizza is absolute garbage. And I hate leaving this because the service was excellent. I arrived around 7. Sat at the bar, had 2 beers and received wonderful service. Bartenders here are absolute gems. Very attentive and I ordered a pizza to take home. Apparently "extra sauce" that they charge for equates to "no sauce" Kalamata olive and peperoni means light peperoni but no olives. Makes me wonder what's going on since everytime I give this place a shot in Phoenix they deliver a similar level of garbage service and horrible pizza. Furthermore I paid for a large and they sent me home with a small. Really didn't wanna embarrassed the very nice women who took my order. Was completely willing to take that hit on being overcharged untill I opened the box and there is next to no sauce or toppings. Avoid of you can your better off ordering domino's. At least there your paying basically nothing to get awful pizza that may be right. Seems like every grimaldis now delivers absolute trash pizza which was not the case a few years ago. Only downside is they will still charge large pizza price for an awful small with the wrong toppings. At least domino's will get my pizza right even if the quality is not there.

We will enjoyed sitting on the patio. My wife had a salad with chicken on it (very little chicken). I had pizza and a beer, the beer not very cold. Bar tender / server was very friendly and attentive.

Pizza was delicious and quite pricey but it was worth it! We actually had this delivered to us and the only thing we were disappointed in was that the app only let us order 2 sides of ranch which was definitely not enough for two big pizzas and they weren’t even filled up but maybe halfway other than that pizza was hot and tasty!

This was our first time here. The food was great the kids loved the pizza which is always great when kids are happy. The Ceasar salad we got was very worth the 12 bucks we spent to get the large size. Kinda crazy to be charged an extra 1 just for changing the dressing on the salad. Overall the food we ordered and recieved was great. The service was ok. I'm just so disappointed to see customer service has almost disappeared completely. The server was nice and polite but very short and unenthusiastic. No suggestions or upselling was attempted. His voice was friendly but his facial expressions were as though he definitely didn't want to be there. Overall we were happy with the food and will return but most likely just get it to take home next time.
