This place is great, I go here quite a bit. One thing to make it even greater...? It would be nice if the laundry offered an electronic payment option. The front desk staff is great about providing quarters but when a person has a lot of laundry, it's a lot of quarters to have to have to ask the front desk for and then to tote around. Most, if not all, of the other truck stops I frequent offer this electronic payment option. It's definitely a convenience feature, but...
Very cool travel center. With everything you need to survive a road trip. This place has a solid old school feel and is the filming location of the infamous gas tank scene from the 1982 film VACATION ... The island and gas pump are still on location
My husband is driver, he came in late passed the time the sign said they close for the food. A wonderful customer service person came over to him and asked want he wanted. She assured him it was okay and that she would make him what he wanted. She was awesome! Thank you so much!
