Brought here by my Dad for the first time in the 80s and its still the same great breakfast spot. Delicious food and great service by friendly staff. A true hidden gem of Flagstaff.
If you like breakfast, you won't find a better spot than here. Road-test the Chicken Fried Steak.....you won't be disappointed. I have sampled this dish all over the country for about the last half-century. Mary's is in the top five nationwide.\n\nWe hadn't been back to Mary's for about 8 years, but it's just as good today as it was then. The chicken fried steak breakfast is so large it is served on three plates (steak takes up an entire platter)....
I hate not giving Mary’s five stars as I’ve been coming here since 1972. We have always had the best food and the kindest and most efficient wait staff. Today was different. When we walked in the door our waitress was having a public argument with another waitress over whose tables where who’s. This was something we did not care to hear as customers.
