Visiting Flagstaff for the first time, we searched for the best coffee places. We hit up Matador two consecutive days. It was so good. Very pleasant work staff who care about their customers. Great company!

The barista, Jessica, was extra helpful and friendly by answering several questions about my getting a special drink that varies from my usual. Appreciated her pleasant service much as I have before!

Walked from Flagstaff rv park - it’s like 3 min from there! Really cool place, had a chai tea (so yum) and breakfast burrito - a serious burrito and really good!! Staff is very nice and service was great!!! Would happily return if we are ever in the area again!!

Angel makes a pourover coffee like a queen! Great spot, the WiFi works, they know about their coffee, and everyone’s nice. The muffins are also the best you can find around

Matador is my go to for coffee any day of the week! The burritos are amazing and you always get what you pay for! Baristas are always friendly! Coffee is always fresh and perfect! Cant recommend them enough

Beyond disappointed, and that’s being extremely generous. There were more staff than customers, and it still took nearly 20 minutes to get a kids hot chocolate, a short-poured 20oz latte that was really only 16oz made by a careless manager, a black drip coffee, and a microwaved breakfast burrito. All the while, I was given the opportunity to listen to staff talk about the details of the manager’s pregnancy to include her experience with labor and delivery.

I recall my first experience at the original matador years ago and it being memorable enough to seek out this coffee shop upon this visit to Flagstaff. This experience was absolutely memorable but for all of the wrong reasons.

Message to the owner: I myself founded and sold a very reputable and successful coffee tea and kombucha company on the East Coast some years back. Candidly, I would fire my entire staff and close a location down before I allowed a group of rogue employees to destroy my company’s reputation the likes of what is happening here
