Charming Atmosphere, Lukewarm Experience
The pictures online definitely caught our attention, especially the giant biscuits that were raved about in nearly every review. My family of four visited around 9:30 AM and were greeted and seated immediately. The place has a cozy, rustic diner feel that we really enjoyed.
We ordered the biscuits and gravy platter with shredded hash browns, eggs, and sausage, along with the much recommended waffle. Our server was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and kept our coffee full and piping hot throughout the meal.
When the food arrived, it looked fantastic. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t quite live up to the hype. Both plates were barely warm, closer to room temperature. The waffle had a great crunch and was sweet, but paired with the room-temp maple syrup from the table, it fell flat. The biscuits and gravy had potential, but they too were served warm at best, and the gravy lacked flavor.
We’re really hoping it was just an off day or bad timing, because the service and atmosphere were lovely, but the food just didn’t meet expectations.

Food is ok. The waitress was nice and attentive. Best thing about this place is the food comes out FAST! Biscuits were.... Not great. Omelet, french toast, and hash browns were pretty decent.

The perfect diner experience. They have signs indicating that they support local veterans, the tables have local businesses on them and the wait staff is super friendly and attentive, right when you walk in.
Adriana took care of us and was exceptional. She had a genuine smile the whole time, offered us samples of items we were considering and went above and beyond to offer us homemade salsas once our food came.
The portions were large and we both cleared our plates completely.
With all of the options in the area, we’re glad we picked this one.
The food we got made us sick not 20 minutes after consuming it. The omelette I got tasted funny and the green chiles had no good flavor to them at all. Pretty bad. The waitress was just fine and deserved her tip but that food could not be excused.
Update: We have food poisoning. Terrible place.

The service was amazing. I got a burger. It was a solid diner burger. The kids meals were huge, which is nice because my oldest isn't always full with the tiny kids portion at other places. Even my 40 pound 7 year old has still been hungry after some kids meals. Anyone with kids know they go through growth spurts and sometimes eat everything in sight, so it's nice to find a place that gives the kids a good sized serving. The biscuits were the size of the kids' heads. It was a lot of food and great service for a really good price. And the biscuits were so moist, which is hard to find.

The food was great and massive. We are big food eaters and couldn't finish! Yes, the biscuits are HUGE. The only side note is the menu on site hasn't been updated, so expect to pay 3 to 6 more each meal and that's still a good deal!

The food was wonderful! Country fried steak was cooked perfectly, with a nice crisp. The portion sizes were huge! Check out the biscuits and gravy pic - the biscuits had a nice crust, with the inside being warm and soft. The French dip was also delicious, and adding the onions and chilies is the way to go!
