This place gets BUSY! We got there at 5 when it opened. The gluten-free options were not labeled, but everyone there knew what we could have. The BBQ fried rice is my favorite ever fried rice and one of the best things I have ever eaten. We ordered the orange chicken (not gluten free) for my picky eater kid and it was devoured!

It was almost closing time on a Friday at 9 pm. So we decided to order takeout. She had the green curry and liked it but beware it is spicy good. I had the yellow curry not spicy at all but delicious. We also ordered the veggie egg rolls. Super crispy and sooo good! Enjoy!!

The soup we got was not warm it is pretty cold and the food was incredibly over salty. It ruined the meal. The employees were very polite and kind though.

Of all the Thai places in Flagstaff, this one is my favorite. Whether it's curry, Pad Thai, or cashew nut tofu, I've never been disappointed here. The portion sizes are large, the menu itself is huge, and you can't go wrong. The worst thing about this place is that I always leave too full, because I want some chicken satay appetizer with my entree. Everything is well seasoned, and if you say spicy, it'll be spicy. Service is generally good and the space itself is cute. Parking downtown is what it is. They have a lot of beverage options (adult and kid friendly). I can't think of something bad to say. I've had a long wait once or twice but it's worth it.

I recently dined at Pato Thai Cuisine and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. There was nothing authentic tasting at all. Thai Beef Salad (2/5): The beef was overcooked and dry, lacking the essential tangy lime and fish sauce taste. Pad See Ew (1/5): Deviated from the traditional recipe with regular broccoli and carrots instead of Chinese broccoli. The heavy soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and absence of oyster sauce left the dish unbalanced. Tom Yum Soup Seafood (3/5): Initially served lukewarm, the seafood variety was decent, but the soup lacked the necessary sourness, kaffir leaves, and lemongrass. Even at level 4 spicy, it lacked the expected heat. Papaya Salad (1.5/5): While the papaya was fresh, the dish lacked the essential garlic, Thai chilies, palm sugar, and fish sauce that should come from the traditional preparation of mashing those ingredients with a mortar. Panang Curry (3.5/5): The best dish of the evening, with a good blend of coconut milk and panang curry sauce. It could benefit from a slightly thicker consistency. Overall, our party was disappointed, and the 4+ star rating seems puzzling. We won't be returning to Pato Thai Cuisine.

We decided on this place out of the other Thai options in Flag and were sorely disappointed in all aspects. The pad see ew was somewhat flavorful but not stir-fried at all, more like a lard na. I was scandalized to find that the panang curry was filled to the brim with frozen vegetables (yes, peas, corn, diced carrots, green beans and LIMA BEANS, all frozen). The waitstaff were cold and robotic. The large portions did not make up for these shortcomings…just not a great experience overall.

The food here is excellent. I am a frequent customer. Unfortunately the last two times I have ordered pickup, I ordered brown rice specifically and was up charged for it. Both times I was given white rice. Starting to think they don’t read what I order, except to charge me for it. They have not compensated me for the errors and when I called back was given some lame response rather than being compensated or making it right! As a frequent customer, thought it would be handled better.

Best Thai I've had in a long time! We were in Flagstaff for a quick trip and decided to try Pato because it was downtown and reviews looked good enough. I was not prepared for the quality of the food that came out. Pad Thai and Spicy Noodles were incredible. My kids demolished their soups and orange chicken. My gin & tonic wasn't great.. but the food more than made up for it. I'll be back.

Pato has good curry and great larb, but terrible soups. We've given it a couple tries, and pretty consistently mediocre on those soups. If you want soup, order more spicy and hope for flavor. Our most recent visit featured super flavorful curry, great tasting pad thai, and a bowl of coconut water trying to be soup. One other minor note, we ordered two mains, an appetizer, and soup, and only got one carton of rice, so clarify when how much you'll get when you order and add extra if you need more. Nothing worse than going to reheat some yellow curry and having no rice to go with it. Let's talk heat scale. Pato runs mild, so a 3 is a true medium. Pato is popular, so order early on Friday and Saturday nights.
