My wife and I came In from Phoenix and they stated they don't allow children without a guardian. I had my ID and my wife didn't and we weren't allowed in. So probably not a good place to eat at IG.

The Bees Knees pizza sounds a little odd to my kids with the sausage pieces and honey drizzle, but it is delicious!! The foccaccia bread is good, but feels a little overpriced at $6 for a small chunk/slice. We sat on the back patio since we had a dog and kids and the large front patio doesn't allow kids (under 18) on weekends. The service was a little spotty since 1 person takes the food order and someone else does drinks. With indecisive kids who decided they wanted a drink after getting food, it was hard to get the attention of the person we needed.

With that said though, everyone was really nice. The food is delicious and they have a great variety of beers and sizes. It's a favorite spot to stop when in Flagstaff.

Check in host refused to seat my party because my ID was vertical and not horizontal. My ID wasn’t expired and he didn’t bother to scan it, no issues with any other bars in Downtown Flagstaff whatsoever. Please train him properly.

The drinks menu and server are separate from the food menu and server. Very strange, but they have it worked out.

The pizza is amazing!

THINNEST paper pizza you'll ever find and for almost $20 per pizza, was a rip off.

They literally don't have ice, like they don't physically own an ice machine.

No ranch or any other typical sauces you'd want with a pizza.

The wait staff is friendly but needing 2 different waiters for food / beverages is a hassle.

Probably won't be going back.

The food was absolutely amazing! Loved the pizza, burrata, and the bread, however, the split servers and service was odd. The beer service was great, where the pizza server took 20 minutes just to come to our table. Overall empty on a Monday, but very slow service.

The service, crafts, and pizza were excellent. Service was very fast for how busy the place was. Server explained that you get two checks because food and beverage were separate businesses. However, both servers were fast and food came out quick. Best spot to eat in historic downtown area.

I really wanted to enjoy the pizza this time, but it’s clear this will never be what it used to.

Back in the day this was the pizza I brought friends and family to. It was worth waiting in line for. It was an establishment that took pride in making the best pizza in town.

This is no longer the case.

Sadly, I won’t be getting pizza from here again.

They have a great dough, and really smart and tasty toppings. But they fall short on the actual baking of the pizza.

The pizza bottom has a charred and bitter flavor. My theory is that they don’t sweep the burnt flour after making each pizza. No matter, it definitely takes away from the pizza.

The undercarriage is undercooked which makes the pizza limp and floppy. The toppings fall off unless you grab the pizza with two hands.

Also, the pacing of the pizza and apps is really off. Getting the burrata and focaccia and then the pizza five minutes later makes for an overwhelming dining experience.

Pizzicletta was one if the first "talks of the town" when arriving in Flagstaff, AZ.

The Pizzeria was really fun. The pizzas are Brick Oven'd to a perfectly charred bottom with an insanely perfected flavor profile on top that is exactly as advertised. I ordered The Bee's Knees and the Margherita Pizzas. The both came out lightning fast - like within 5 minutes of ordering fast. The Bee's Knees showed off the rich sweetness of Mountain Top Honey, a desert wildflower based apiary located in Flagstaff itself. While the honey is definitely showcased well, it was a bit too overwhelmingly sweet for my particular taste. But it was still very good! The Margherita felt like a safe choice, but that being said, it had its own flavor blast with the tomato sauce as the shining star and the basil being a perfect supporting role. Both pizzas were cooked to a slightly burnt and bitter finished bottom, which is exactly what you'd be looking for in a thin-crust pizza.

With Dark Skies Brewery sharing a space with the Pizzeria, you get the best of both worlds. Locally Brewed IPAs dominate the Beer selection - leaving a few Pales Ales and Browns to stand alone to represent themselves. I ordered 2 flights of the beers, deciding on the Fire in the Sky, Westie, Office Supplies, Respect the Send, Sabbath of the Undead, After Thoughts, Snow Fever, and Flying Chancla. Of the IPAs chosen, the Fire in the Sky and Office Supplies stood above the rest as far as original tastes. If you are looking to "play it safe," the Respect the Send is your best bet. As far as the other brews, Sabbath of the Undead and Snow Fever were absolutely delightful picks. They are both very coffee forward. The best "play it safe" beer that isn't an IPA will be the After Thoughts.

The thing to consider when coming here for both the beer and the pizza, is that they will be tallied separately, in two separate paychecks. While this isn't bothersome to most, some might find this irritating, so it's just something to prepare for if you're that type of person.

The atmosphere is cool, but it does force you to sit at a community table unless you are fortunate enough to grab the one or two solo/couple spots available. If you're not a social person, this may not be the place for you. But if you thrive on that sort of atmosphere, Pizzicletta and Dark Sky might just be the perfect fit for you.

I ordered the funghi pizza, and it was great (all aspects — crust, cheese, toppings). Based on my order, this place is currently very underrated at its current star rating.
