Excellent food, generous portions. great salsas. Three different kinds brought to the table for chips that were also great on the tacos. We enjoyed our lunch here. Various room with different vibes ( bar, patio, dining, Sunday games on in 1 room) Also friendly helpful waitstaff across the board who made great recommendations.
My oh my, some big portions. The food was very good. We had plenty to eat and enough left for a small dinner. which worked well as it was a very late lunch. Their margarita special was quite good too.
Featured in AZ Highways some time back, we decided to give it a try while in town visiting. Unfortunately it was not a standout for Mexican food. Our meals were just OK, not bad but not great, just run of the mill Mexican. Service was decent but a little slow for a half empty dining room. I would try other places before going back, maybe La Fonda???
The stuffed sopaipilla was excellent. Wait staff was fast and courteous. A must try when in Flagstaff.
Literally the worst burrito I’ve ever had. The Red Chile (mild according to them) lacked any red chile whatsoever. They don’t serve ground beef with their food. Has to be substituted with carne asada that you pay extra for. The carne asada tasted like it had been boiled in water and didn’t see the grill at all. The flavor was lifeless. My wife complained about the pork on her taco salad and how it also lacked any flavor. How can this restaurant be a best of in Flagstaff when the food is surpassed by Taco Bell? I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody.

No wait and quick service. Started with 3 salsa and chips, enjoyed the sopapilla and carnitas combo for the meal with margarita. Overall good experience, could seat larger groups as there were quite a few there.

Menu emphasizes hearty mountain fare and fresh local flavors
Just picked up 3 tacos. carne asada, carnitas and chicken street tacos. They didn't not even warm the tortilla. The food did not look appetizing.. ..it was cold and bland. Not authentic Mexican food !

We went there because Guy Fiere had this in Drive Ins, Diners and Dives. The 3 salsas were delicious.

We are from out of town and visited Salsa Brava. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed in with a smile. Our waitress, Edie, was wonderful. She was attentive and so friendly. The food was delicious. We were offered 3 different types of salsa to try and they were all so good. I had the pork quesadilla and hubs had the carne asada enchiladas. Soooo good. If you are ever in Flagstaff, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!
My hot chocolate was really good. The tacos carne asada were good. They have this hot sauce that serve with chips.. is made out of pineapple and habanero. And it’s really really good.
