Such delicious food! Will be back here very soon! I'm typically not a huge fan of pork chops but their pork chops will change your mind as they did mine!

the food and service were fantastic. We sat at the Chefs counter and was able to chat with the kitchen staff about the dishes they were preparing. I've got to figure out how to make the sunflower seed risotto - that was amazing as was the smoked mussels and porkchop!

Truly amazing restaurant. Loved the open kitchen and carefully crafted plates. Among the best pork chops and chocolate mousses I’ve had.

Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and our waitress was great! The food, especially the pork chop and the brussel sprouts, was very good.

We made a reservation in advance for a time slot available on the website. It was the only option available for our party size. We missed a call asking us to move our reservation up, but in the voicemail they shared it was only if we wanted to. When we arrived, the first thing we were greeted with was that the kitchen was about to close and we had 10 minutes to order. If the restaurant and staff would like to close things down around 9, perhaps they shouldn’t allow reservations so close to that time.

i was very excited to go try out this spot as i looove upscale experimental dining especially in my hometown of flagstaff! the atmosphere is very nice and i enjoy their rustic yet modern aesthetic.
first: a member of my party did not enjoy their pasta entree and wanted something else. with only a bite taken out if it, they took it back and brought her a salad which she enjoyed BUT they still charged us for BOTH DISHES! like whatever but at least let us know so the rest of the party could potentially enjoy the dish that was payed for.

anyways when it comes to the dining, i can sum it up by saying that being experimental with quality ingredients doesn’t mean for your foods going to be good. same with the drinks. the pork chop was the best dish, and the appetizers (muscle toast and bread platter) were also phenomenal.
the pumpkin rib dish was also very good, but the proportions from meat to complimenting components was way off (sooo much pumpkin).
the lamb pasta was season-less, though if eaten with every component (again though the portions were very off) it was a decent meal. but if the meat can’t carry the flavor then it’s not for me.
the fries were AMAZING and their sauces are also very well done. but the burger was unfortunately dry. semi-flavorful, but again very nice ingredients with no flavor maxing. i had to use the fry dipping sauces to eat it, which then made it actually quite enjoyable.
the pasta was sent back (though i tried it and actually REALLY enjoyed it. the Parmesan crisp idea is actually very lovely and the filling was done great)
the wedge salad was also very good, loved the saltiness and the dressing was light yet creamy.
the drinks were also quite good but still not on par with other cocktail craft-eries charging similar if not lower prices. the drinks seemed wayyy experimental and just weren’t that appealing for a fine dining establishment.

all in all, solid food, alright drinks, but not worth the price when compared to many other local fine-dining establishments in the same market. worth a try if you’ve got the money !

Shift is JOKE - This Restaurant "Might be Nice" but the gal that greeted me today at opening is totally Rude. I waited for 30 minutes for them to open.
Costs Big money to EAT OUT now since Joe Biden took over. . No thanks. Other reviews show the same experience I had. Poor and not cool. Thx AW

Shift offers small plates and larger plates. We ate family style which was fun because we tried more dishes. They pickle whole potatoes before making them fries - if you like vinegar, you will love these - simply delicious. The crispy brussel sprouts were also incredible.

Wow, this place is not to be missed.

The food was amazing, the pickled fries and scallops were a highlight but the savory sorbet was also a welcome surprise.
The cocktail program led by Emma was also really special, very unique and every cocktail we had was great!

The restaurant has a bright but cozy vibe. The staff was so welcoming, one of our best dining experiences in a long time.
Can't wait to come back!

Pretty sure this is the best restaurant in Flagstaff. Plenty of great casual options in town but the other "nice dinner" spots don't compare to Shift. Delicious food, calm and professional staff, and great drinks.

We had a fantastic meal here! The service, the food, the atmosphere- everything was superb. We don’t typically get dessert, but decided to try the blueberry cobbler with lemon lavender sorbet, and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Highly recommend

Three of us visited recently with mixed results. We didn't have a reservation so were led to the back room which is not all that comfortable. The young woman who waited on us did not seem to be fully capable. We asked for refills on our drinks and she brought them one at a time.

Food was pretty good, but very limited selections. People rave about the pickled fries, but to me they appeared to be fries with pickle juice on them. Nothing special in my opinion. The scallops were terrific, the burger impressive, and the Dragon wine was quite good.

Not sure we would go back again.

My sunflower seed risotto was scrumptious, but the best part was my son‘s hamburger. I had no idea that a hamburger could taste so good. Service was excellent and if you’re a wine drinker, you have to get the OPP Pinot Noir.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely immaculate. They do an excellent job of putting unique ingredients together that you wouldn’t think would go together. We had the bread board, risotto, pickled fries, burger, jalapeño cheesecake and savory sorbet. Absolutely recommend!
