We enjoyed the special holiday menu offered at Silver Pines for New Year's Eve. I started with a beet salad, while my husband had lobster bisque. Then we chose the steak and lobster entree with asparagus and mashed potatoes. For dessert he had a chocolate cate and I had creme brulee. Dinners were very good and came with a complementary glass of prosecco. The service was great, especially considering it was a busy holiday evening. Afterward, we enjoyed wandering through the Christmas lights on the hotel grounds.
This was an absolutely fantastic restaurant. Everything on the menu is delicious (drinks included), the space was great with beautiful Christmas decorations, big windows, and a great bar area with a fireplace. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great food.
We spend almost $400 on Christmas buffet dinner for 3 adults (one who was 15 and did not get any alcohol) and a kid. My wife recently had gastric bypass surgery and we asked if she didn't drink could we get it at the kids price. They said no, when we asked if we could get the 15 yr old for a cheaper price they said no (the adult price includes mimosas and bloody Marys). The meats, pastas and crepes were all lukewarm at best. The crab was good, shrimp had a very fishy taste. The charcuterie board was WELL picked over and did not look appetizing at all. I can not comment on the omelette station nor the desert as they only had pie and I'm not a fan. Our waitress was fantastic and it is a cute hotel....but would I go back NO. Not worth the money, disappointed with the food for that price.
The food and service was great, but a little noisy and a bit spendy. Good one time experience but we wouldn't do it again.
I had a wonderful Christmas buffet experience with my family. They offered so much variety and I was in love with their chocolate fondue and desserts! The Prime Rib, potatoes, and salads were my favorite! I also enjoyed watching them make my omelette and crepe right in front of me. And the bottomless mimosas— you can't go wrong with those either. I would definitely do this again!
Reserved a window table a month in advance for the Christmas light display. When we arrived there was a window table available. Hostess refused to give us a window table and sat us in the center of the restaurant, nowhere near the windows. When we finished and left the exact same table at the window was still empty. Very unimpressed by the hostess. She acted like she hated her job and couldn't care less. Put a damper on the evening. In comparison, our server CJ was fantastic.
Silver Pine is the place to go for fabulous food, great atmosphere and great service. Whether it's a special occasion or just a date night, it's our go to place. It's never disappoints!!
Ate at Silver Pine for Thanksgiving. Traditional turkey dinner was delicious! Included soup or salad (both excellent...I had soup and hubs had salad) Main course turkey breast, garlic mashed potatoes/gravy, cranberry sauce, dressing, beautiful green beans. Also included choice of pumpkin, apple, pecan pie or pumpkin cheesecake. Service was excellent. Servers very pleasant.
It was incredible. Best experience for our whole group. The server was awesome and food delicious. Still talking about it. Thank you to all the staff
Our server was the best. He was upbeat, polite and made the entire experience. Food was delicious and better than expected.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights while on a bus tour. The breakfasts were included in our package - a special tour bus menu had enough variety to satisfy everyone. Our "farewell dinner" had been ordered ahead of time and the quality of all food items was excellent. In all cases, the service was speedy and efficient without being intrusive. The restaurant is large and somewhat noisy but the ambiance is fitting of an expensive establishment. Recommended - if you are staying at this hotel, it is the obvious and a good choice.
We were on a tight schedule to attend an event and our server took note and got our food out in record time! Everything was Delicious! I ordered salmon, my husband had the trout and the 3 folks in our group ordered the fish tacos. The potato chips that came with one sandwich was soooo good! Great ambience - the forest right outside their windows.
Eggs were over cooked, potatoes were undercooked (hard) and over seasoned, sausage links barely warm. Server did not come back to check on our fiid and then dropped off ticket so quick that we couldn't even ask her for a to go box or address concerns with the food. She never made eye contact and we spent $50 for breakfast for two. I did complain to hostess who took 20% off our ticket. We chose this restaurant because we really wanted a really nice breakfast.

Not listed on website that stop serving breakfast at 11am on a Sunday. We arrived a little before and the hostess was pretty rude about it and not accomodating. We told her we were all looking forward to breakfast/brunch and asked if we could order for the rest of our party which were on their way and she said "no, everyone has to be here" even though we knew what everyone wanted to order. This was disappointing since there was no indication on this when we googled places for Sunday brunch and this restaurant came up. The lunch was ok but nothing spectacular. Our server was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is very pretty and so is the hotel they should just have brunch hours on the weekend and a nicer hostess.
We came into Flagstaff for dinner. We wanted to avoid the campus area and downtown area because it was family weekend at NAU. We found reservations open for this restaurant on Open Table. It was right off of I-40. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. The dinner of prime rib and trout was excellently prepared. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We walked the grounds of Little America after dinner.
