Way overpriced given its location, service and portion

Seems like a really popular Asian spot here. Food is good, Gyoza are huge and delicious, lots of chicken with the pop corn chicken and boba combo. I’m glad I got everything else because unfortunately there wasn’t much beef in my gyu don and more onion. Still really good though! And my Thai tea was perfect.

Disappointing execution on flavors and texture.
Teriyaki Chicken: The sauce was excessively sweet, lacking the necessary savory balance to make it enjoyable.
Popcorn Chicken: Unfortunately, this was a miss. The breading was incredibly greasy/oily, and the seasoning was overwhelmingly heavy on black pepper, completely masking any natural chicken flavor.

First time coming by and we loved the food. Kids loved having the teriyaki chicken even my one year old enjoyed it! Got boba drinks and they were great! Only issue was we were stuck waiting for boba drinks that were never called out for us, had to inquire, and wait longer for them to remake our missing drinks. But they were very kind about it all. We will definitely come back when we visit Flagstaff again.

Sono Kitchen was absolutely worth the trip. The flavors were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, making every bite enjoyable. We drove two hours to adventure around town and decided to stop here for a meal and tea, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our day. The food was comforting yet exciting, and the tea was the perfect complement. If you’re exploring the area, this spot is definitely worth going out of your way for.

Whenever we’re in Flag, we hit this place up. We’ve lost track of the different items we’ve eaten, but we’ve never had a bad meal. Most recent trip included the popcorn chicken, chicken teriyaki, and beef rice bowl. Delicious, wonderful, and perfect for a last stop in town.

The short lady with round glasses is really rude! I politely asked her about my drink…she stared at me for like 3 seconds, rolled her eyes and gave me attitude. Very unprofessional
I love their boba!! I used to like the food, but both my gf and I got food poisoning from the orange chicken.
