What a great addition to Flagstaff. I ordered the sono boba milk tea with almond milk (about $8 after a $1.00 tip). My friend ordered the taro yummy. She said the taro yummy was sweet but not too sweet. The milk tea was tasty and had the perfect sweetness. The boba were included, large and chewy. Great playlist and friendly workers.

Grew up around NYC and have had an unfathomable amount of boba throughout my life. All I can say is wow: was not expecting such high quality boba in Flagstaff.The Taro Yama is A+++. World class. refreshing and not overpoweringly sweet. Uses real taro which is incredible, since the vast majority of boba shops I’ve been to just use powder. Peach rose was also delicious.Didn’t get a chance to try the food, but it also looked great. If you’re craving boba, do yourself a favor and stop by.

It’s such a wonderful little spot in flagstaff. I love their drinks, always tastes great, and the food is always so good too! The boba is really high quality compared to other places in flagstaff, so it’s my go to boba shop. Customer service is always great and they have a great atmosphere in the building that makes it a great meetup spot.

I've tried all the varieties that they offer, and they all taste great.UPDATE: Although I still stand by their boba being very good, their service is lacking.We ordered online and 30 minutes later our drinks were not ready and they’re prioritizing walk-in orders before us. We asked the lady who was making drinks about this and she quickly dismissed us (albeit it was pretty busy).I recommend just ordering inside, even if it appears to be busy. They make the drinks quickly, but it seems online orders take the lowest priority.

I'm pretty picky with boba as I'm Asian and I know all the good spots and this was definitely one of them. I really liked my brown sugar boba and my drink was almost icey and I really enjoyed that. I also had the popcorn chicken and boba special and the chicken was so good, pretty spicy but really good and for the price it's a good deal. The service was also really good and the staff was so friendly.

My main meal was just really mediocre. It's asian food adapted to the American taste, but was just not that great, with little flavor. The orange chicken I got was so soft in some bites and so hard in others it was like bites of fat and bites of hard sinew, maybe because it wasn't fried as much as I normally have at Chinese places. The pickled cucumber were delicious and the Gyoza was pretty good as well. The restaurant has tons of charm and was full of Japanese goodies. Staff was nice.
