Cute little ramen place with incredible food and service. Best ramen in town by my humble estimation. The parking lot next to it gets busy, though, and the narrow streets and alleys aren't always clear. I reccomend finding street parking nearby if you can!

Food was super good. Came during halfy hour and the portion was the same size as normal price. Only gripe is the QR code menu

Had the audacity to serve cold ramen with frozen carrots. The broth was extremely watered down and completely lacked flavor. When we mentioned it to the waiter, his response was that they “can’t overboil the carrots or they’ll be soggy.”
Respectfully… that’s not how ramen should be served.
A very dirty restaurant, everything felt sticky especially the table we sat at. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend

Broth is very lacking compared to authentic ramen. Go sushi and rice and things do a better job. Too much money for watery broth and some undercooked noodles. Dont recommended.
Heard about SoSoBa from our son and decided to go. Got the Mic Drop! Ramen and the seaweed salad. Great food and service!

The restaurant is very clean, and the cooking is professional. The place is always busy, lively, and cozy. I really liked the staff; they were cheerful, attentive, and friendly. The portions are just the right size, and I recommend trying the Tantanmen and Katsu. I hope to visit the restaurant again soon if I'm in downtown again.

SoSoBa has a unique variety of items that are modern twists or interpretations of traditional Japanese cuisine. It was neat being able to view the kitchen while eating. However, the broth in my ramen and my family's tasted a little bland and watery. I wish that the potstickers in my ramen came on the side to have them stay crispy. The macaroni ball was pretty good too!
We did see a couple walk into the restaurant, sit down, and then walk out over to the restaurant across the alley.
Overall, this was a cool place to try and if you're into unique ramen, you'll like it too.

Don’t come if you want good ramen. Fusion style where they try to make things unique. Disappointing meal when we were really excited for good ramen.

I loved this place. The ramen was amazing and very flavorful. Anthony and Adam took great care of us and were attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The ramen had a slight American-style twist to it, but it was still enjoyable and acceptable, especially for those who like a fusion approach. Overall, the experience was very good, and I would definitely consider coming back again.

Food was delicious! Great vegetarian options too. 10/10
We came in as a group and were looking for tables. One of the staff members suggested that we sit on the patio since there were many of us, which we completely understood given how busy the restaurant was (although it was really cold outside since it’s winter).
We went outside but had to come back in to place our order. While waiting, a waiter with long hair (wearing brown) spoke to us in a very stern tone, almost yelling, telling us to move and saying that we “shouldn’t be blocking the island.” The way it was said was embarrassing and disrespectful.
We understand restaurant policies and busy environments, but there is no excuse for speaking to customers that way. Because of how we were treated, we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Very disappointing experience.

We had a delicious dinner tonight. We very much enjoyed our two Ramens but the best was our gyoza appetizer. This is a very busy place. We were lucky to only have a short wait time for a table.

Calamari delicious but took about 20 minutes.
Both the bowls of ramen we got had less than half the protein I expected though it was very well seasoned and cooked. They arrived at ~45 minutes in small bowls. Broth was lukewarm and flavorless, noodles were a half portion, and the eggs (which cost extra) were not marinated.
Maybe I’m just spoiled with the selection and quality in PHX but this place was so slow and underwhelming I have no idea how it’s in business.
