Very friendly service from Matt and Drew. Delicious carne asada fries and nopal tacos. Appreciated the variety in the menu. Wonderful drinks and reasonably priced. Loved the "dive" vibe with the super sweet bar dog (Take down that one sign, tho...)

I do not recommend this place with the new manager. He was rude and would no longer serve us when we were asking simple questions about service, i.e food and drinks. He kept repeating himself saying "the cook will be here when the super bowl starts". That started roughly at 3:30PM with kickoff at 4:30PM. The cook did not arrive until 5PM. With this knowledge, I would have gone somewhere else to get food, but he kept dodging my question and continued to make us wait. He made rude remarks to me about being "hangry" when I simply was asking when the cook was going to arrive. He then proceeded to tell me how I could spend my money as a consumer. I did not appreciate him giving me poor service when the table next to us was given stellar due to the women being "prettier" than I am. That is insensitive. I have never had terrible service here in the past 6 years I've lived in flagstaff. I will not be going back, it was a fun laid back bar but now it's turning into a place that discriminates against their own consumers. I sure hope the owner realizes his manager is doing this to the consumers of Flagstaff.

We had the best time here. We traveled up to flag from the valley to take our dogs to play in the snow and this was the best stop after. The back patio is the coolest spot with heaters and a fire pit and swings! Dog friendly and the owner came out to talk with us for a bit too. Super awesome guy who you can tell really loves what he’s doing. Food is great and drinks are cheap! Will definitely be going back.

All the food here is amazing. I came here when they open and every time I'm in central TX Mills County. I stopped by to get one of their amazing brisket sandwiches. I have had the burgers, steaks, salads, chili, sandwiches and more. A well stocked bar. And the friendliest staff.

Such a cool spot! Drew, the owner, was incredibly sweet! We stopped in on Sunday during the snow storm so we had the place to ourselves. Drew turned on the fire pit for the kids on the dog friendly back patio while they played in the snow. The tacos were awesome and the salsas were delicious! I highly recommend the habanero salsa. Plenty of TVs in the back room with the pool table. The patio would have been a lot of fun had it not been for the weather. The bathroom was updated and clean. Next time we're in Flag we'll for sure stop in again!

I love Southside. I suggested my friends and I go a couple days after Christmas, since I had gone in the past and loved it. It's under new ownership, and they really took care of us. Really cheap drinks, great service. They put up with us playing a trivia game that involved a call bell, and they also bought the licensing and figured out how to set up karaoke just because a couple of us wanted to.It's kind of a country bar, with wood floors and walls. It also has an outside space that's very cute, I have enjoyed it in the past. The food was delicious - I had a taco off of someone else's plate and it was great.I have had so much fun at Southside every time I go, and I highly recommend it to anyone out downtown in Flagstaff.

New owners were very nice and welcoming of us and our two dogs. We did sit on the patio in the middle of winter but it was covered and blocked the wind, and there was a heater above our area. They served us food and beer and we had a good time with our friends. They even gave the pups some chicken. We had very happy dogs when we got home.
