Love the people who work here. Sweets are better than gelato. Love the soda. Fudge good. Lollipops cute.

Came in for a sweet treat after dinner. Person who helped us behind the counter was very nice and patient. Thanks for letting us sample the gelato before buying. Pretty quiet in here since I was just us on a Tuesday night. Plenty of candy to choose from. Oh, 5 stars for my caramel apple. The apple is fresh as could be. (I had my share of caramel apple).

As a former employee of the sweet shoppe, the owners of this business put their employees through hoops. Last year, the owners of the sweet shoppe did not give me my W-2 until March. Despite being patient and willing to work with them, I was sent to the store multiple times to pick it up and no one was ever there to give it to me. It was sent to me at the end of March through email after asking multiple times. Now, this year, 2024, the same thing is happening. I have texted, reached out, provided them with my correct information, and yet I still have no W-2.The owners at this store are known for quickly firing employees (not me, I quit) with no notice for seemingly small acts. For example, an old coworker of mine was fired after dropping a box of sprinkles on the ground. I believe that if the owners don’t like someone, they look for little things they can use to get rid of you immediately. If your sales are lower this week than last, you’re fired. If you windex the glass before 7:59pm, you’re fired. Hard working employees at this store are fired at a rapid rate on the spot, yet the owners feel disrespected when they aren’t provided a “2 weeks” in return. Employees at this store are constantly worried about their job security, and are expected to bend over backwards for the name of the sweet shoppe, and yet aren’t given the same level of respect back.Candy? Amazing.Employees? Amazing.Toxic work environment? Yes.Caring owners? No.My W-2? Still has yet to arrive.

Had the most WONDERFUL experience! Wish I could give 10 stars! We stopped for a treat on our drive from the Grand Canyon to phoenix and were amazed. First, the folks at the counter were fabulous - so kind & excellent recommendations! The gelato? Delicious. The macaroons? Perfect. The tiger butter fudge? Dreamy. The chocolates? Magical. Considering moving to Flagstaff so we can come here regularly!! Thanks so much for the best afternoon adventure!

I came in here not expecting to get anything, but just to look around. However, I ended up getting cactus candy and cactus pear sorbet. I read an article that cactus is used in different types of foods and drinks in Arizona. I tried one of the cactus candies, and it had the texture of a gummy and tasted very sweet. I also tried their sorbet and ate the cactus pear sorbet. It tasted like a pear with a little kick to it. I'm glad I was able to try the cactus assortments here as I haven't seen this in many spots.

They have excellent fudge with a large variety of flavors. Service is slow as this place tends to get really crowded.

Delicious stop for some sweets while gallivanting around the town. Fun historic atmosphere with homemade confections and goods.

This rating is for fudge. Fudge is watered down with wax or some other filler. Nearly tasteless. Too bad, because this place used to have superior fudge.

Sweet Shoppe is a cute old fashioned candy store in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. Everything except the macarons and the management is great! Working for the Sweet Shoppe is a fun and fulfilling experience until you realize the true character of the owners. Jen Rolley specifically, makes working at her store just a step above miserable. After they failed to sell the business, the owners relocated across the country, and chose to manage the store by watching every employee's every move throughout their shift, and then calling them to berate them for not meeting the standards she fails to consistently uphold. Instead, she elects to "part ways" with employees she claims to respect and value for deceptive or no reasoning at all. Some being that an employee "isn't the same person" they were when hired, they didn't provide a doctors note when they called out of a singular shift for the first time in their 11 months of employment due to COVID-19, or even that they "don't fit in with the rest of the team", because they had tattoos and didn't fit her "disneyland aesthetic", even though this person was loved amongst the entire team. If you love your job and do it well, you are held to a much higher standard than someone who doesn't care as much, or someone who quickly mops, and you are far more likely to be let go than an average employee. Jen knows how successful her business is, and has become a narcissistic, greedy, selfish woman because of it. Behind the counter, everyone is terrified for their job security, in fear that they'll be handled the way the last person was. I would not recommend working for the Rolley's, or giving a single dollar to them. Trust me, there are better candy stores.

What a treat! This place has everything you need to break a diet and live a little. I went with the peanut butter chocolate fudge and I dont regret it one bit. I intend to go back a cheat a little more after writing this review.

Stumbled across this gem on an impromptu trip to Flagstaff. I grew up with homemade fudge to die for and other than my grandmother & mother's fudge and that found at Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA (if you know you know) this place has amazing fudge and so worth the calories

I stopped in here on my way back to the valley because I saw they had caramel apples and I wanted to get one for my mom. I ended up leaving with 2 apples, 1/4lb of fudge, a handful of different singular chocolates, AND cotton candy lol. The gal behind the counter was super helpful and patient as I decided on a billion different things. I'd even say I preferred these apples of Disneyland ones.. it was 10/10
