I went here twice during my trip to Arizona, and it was absolutely the best. Big shout out to Grady, who took care of us.The pesto pasta, Greek salad, 3 Little Pigs, and Moussaka were phenomenal. Next time I visit, I’ll be back here!

The food and service were exceptional. The manager stopped at our table to check on us. The waitress was very personable, too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I got the lunch pizza and salad special and would definitely recommend it. The wood fired pizza was awesome and a good lunch size. The Greek salad was delicious and fresh. Would definitely come back.

Taverna is located near the intersection of I-40 and I-17. We, Group of friends, went there for dinner. Nice place and decor, not quite busy. Got the table as soon as we reached there without reservation. Food also came pretty fast. No issue with food quality too. Zucchini cake was good, chicken bowl and grilled Chicken (Pita) could have tested way better if a bit more seasoning was on it, but still good. Place is clean and server was nice too. Definitely recommend.

They were good prior to the renovation. Now double the price and food 1/4 as good. Not sure if it’s new management or not, but place is no bueno anymore.

Taverna used to be our go to spot until several years ago when the new chef changed the menu. My wife and I decided to try it again, and since we were both sick on my birthday, we got it delivered. The salmon ($35!!!) was overcooked, dry, and charred. The potatoes in the moussaka ($25) weren't cooked enough, as in they were still crunchy. The zucchini fritters were so-so. At least the dolmades were good. Overall very disappointed. Not worth even half of what we payed for it. I realize food in to-go containers might not be quite as good as fresh out of the kitchen, but I expect it to be cooked to the appropriate level. Won't be eating at Taverna again.

Restaurant ambiance and service were great! Food was not. Overcooked chicken and beefAnd way undercooked potatoes! Not so sure on the seasoning either - seemed liked they just threw cumin at it - even on the fries.Based on other reviews looks like the Italian dishes might be better?? But I thought this was supposed to be a Greek restaurant?

Got the Mediterranean chop salad with salmon and it was fantastic! There was a mishap with my salmon and the kitchen burnt it twice. But the manager and server were extremely sweet about it and took it off my final bill and gave us a free dessert. They were super attentive. The food was very flavorful. We got calamari as a starter and it was to die for. The calamari was crispy and the arugula salad it came with was very flavorful. I would highly recommend this place to try! Ambiance is giving elevated above casual

I have now been here a few times, but I've kept forgetting to do my review. From the first time I have visited this restaurant its always been a pleasant experience. This review will be some old with some new. I have ordered the calamari as an appetizer and I would rate it a 4/5. It had a little bit of a chewy texture to it, but it definitely tasted fresh and was garnished with great flavor. I order calamari at most places that offer it as an appetizer. I have ordered others times with my visits here. I also ordered the Saganaki appetizer and would give this a solid 5/5 for what it is. The cheese came out boiling hot, so give it a few minutes to cool. It's a good sharing appetizer and the second time I ordered it, I had family with me. It was a good balance of bread to cheese and it had great complimenting flavors. My main meal from this review will be about the Gyro with Ceasar salad. 5/5 and highly recommend. The presentation was amazing and the food came out very quickly with little delay. Hardly had time to eat my appetizers. The flavor was really good, but the onions were very strong. Might have been that batch of onions, but the salad made this meal a 5/5. I want to also add that their pizzas are very well cooked and can be shared or someone can polish off the pizza and be completely full. The burger with bacon on it, also another great choice off the menu. The main drink that I use to get when I was suppose to make this review was called the Yellowstone. I absolutely loved this drink and wish they still had it, but the new Ranch drink is honestly my favorite drink I have found since moving out here. Both of these drinks are 5/5 in my book. Great flavor with some bourbon kick, but not over bearing. My server during this time was a bartender named Rileye (hope I spelled it right). She was super informative of the menu and was always quick to ask if I needed any while I was waiting for food or enjoying my beverage. Her customer service was a 5/5 and can say she definitely helped me with giving this location a 5 star rating. Since going there a handful more times I have been helped by other staff members and it seems that mostly everyone enjoys working there and keeps a good positive attitude toward guests. The other bartender with long curly hair (never got his name) has also been very kind to us during our visits. Even made a drink for my wife that use to be on the menu, and is no longer there. Keep up the great work staff. If you are visiting or a local who hasn't been here yet. Stop in and you will not be disappointed. Yall will see me again.

We were heading back down to the valley and decided to stop for a late lunch. I was very quiet and empty when we arrived, I was a little nervous "how good could this place be?". We decided to stay and I'm glad we did. We ordered THE THREE PIGS pizza and it was delicious. I will definitely come back.

The pizza is amazing, the salad was so fresh! I had the lunch special, 1/2 pizza (3 Little Pigs) and 1/2 salad (Caesar) and it was phenomenal!

Had been looking to eating here for years. Finally came out on valentines day which was our anniversary. Service was good except for Mgr. Food was actually not good. Wife's souvloky was charred/ burnt Both chicken and steak. Moussaka was awful. Flavor was OK, but texture is everything on food. Seriously. Told by Mgr and server that "its a new menu item and this dish is not perfected yet. Why is it on the menu? Server or Mgr never offered to see if I wanted anything else. We don't like to complain, but that was not handled correctly. When I told the mgr.Mgr. he was going to just walk away when I called him back to tell him. Nobody went to the kitchen to see what happened.? Eggplant was not cooked enough tough, stringy chewey. Showed mgr. and he did qnothing . As soon as customer is poking at their food, someone should have checked to see if customer was happy. She did come and ask if everything was alright and we should have just sent it all back. Again, not servers fault. As a Chef and Mgr. in a large successful steak house in flagstaff, as is my wife server,Mgr we were completely dissatisfied and very disappointed. Food should not go out like that, Mgr should have followed up. Especially when the plates were bussed and went back to the kitchen. I look at every plate that comes back to my kitchen when plates are bussed, if there is food left over on plate I ask about it. Kitchen needs to care a litter more and Mgr needs to be trained better. We will let people know about taverna. And not in a positive way.
