I always love being at the university union. It is like a single stop to know about multiple things happening around the university and also have delicious food.

Watch out for European (white) people.. they bully around and good for nothing... stay away from them as much as you can

Watch out for the 2 Mexican custodians ladies. They are extremely prejudiced towards white people. I am verbally attacked every time I go hear. They are really bad people. I have talked to the director about them and apparently custodians are used to harass certain people on this campus. They have a big guy named Kyle at the Cline library that they also use to harass certain people.
Good food but mask wearing is not enforced. Dozens of people a day are not following the law in here and the staff does nothing about it.

I showed up late to get a student ID after being lost on campus. Kylie at the JacksCard Central Ticket Office is a gem! Kind, courteous, and went the extra mile for a student. Thank you!

I've always had decent experiences here and I eat there a few times a week. But beware, I've heard many stories about people getting food poisoning after eating here.

I've been eating here for nearly a while semester now and my experience with the hot spot just gets worse the more you know and rely on it. This morning was very disappointing, I waited from 10:00 to 11:30 and none of the other places opened up during this time, to which I left hungry. I will say that the other (rather unhealthy) choices were open but it's almost always the same greasy American breakfast, pizza, and pastries. Most choices are hit or miss here but more miss as the week progresses. Next semester I'm just going to change my meal plan from 14 to 10 meals since anything outside the hotspot has reliable service and better food. UPDATE (1/20/19) 2nd semester : I am completely fed up with the hot spot and nau food in general. First day back before the semester they fed us OLD FOOD. As a result, I had a very unpleasant trip to the bathroom. Since then I've completely avoided the pizza/ cheese foods as well as going there in general. This food is not worth the $600 a month! We tried to see if we could cancel the meal plan all together but it turns out freshmen living on campus are enslaved to a meal plan. Not very happy about this.
