The Toasted Owl East Side

The breakfast we enjoyed while visiting Flag was nice. The coffee was good. Service was nice. Free easy parking. Kid friendly. We thought it’s A little pricey.

My wife and I dinned here Saturday. Took a while before we saw a host. Once seated took a while before we were greeted by a server. I ordered the Reuben. My wife ordered the avocado toast with gluten-free bread. She must have gotten butt of a tiny gluten-free loaf. It was a pretty meager portion for $18. My Reuben was rather dry, which is supposed to be the opposite of a Reuben. The bread seem like it was put in a toaster instead of griddle on a flat top with butter, very small amount of dressing. I wasn’t really impressed. Fries were good and my wife liked her eight potato halves she was served. Our server never came back to fill our waters, and the cherry on top was the 5% fee for a a minimum wage in Flagstaff. The minimum wage is the cost of doing business and Flagstaff raise your prices and stop slipping your patrons hidden fees to justify needing to pay your staff, and if you are gonna charge that fee, make sure your staff are trained to serve and follow portion control. It wasn’t even that busy but we’ve been trying to give this restaurant a try for the last few years (it used to be really good) and I think we’re just gonna cross it off our list of places to eat in Flagstaff. Too many disappointments trying to recapture what it used to be.

We had the delight of walking in to bunch of vintage owl art on our vacation to Flagstaff. Their service completely friendly and inviting. Absolute, favorite breakfast/lunch food with vegan alternatives also. We always stop by when in flag and now the new site in Phoenix. Soon another close to us in PV. always a hoot of nest. 🦉

I can’t believe that this restaurant thinks they are so special that they can put up a giant glaring orange sign scolding their customers ahead of time for problems that EVERY OTHER restaurant in the world deals with quietly on a case by case basis. I wouldn’t eat here. It’s insulting. But best of luck to you.

Cool place, the Lemon Chicken omelette is amazing, the server was prompt and efficient. Best part is, it is right off the freeway, quick stop when traveling, in and out fast. $20.00 for a healthy breakfast is a decent deal in today's world. And last but not least, the ingredients are quality.

One of the upholstered chairs was stained and dirty. Not exactly what you want when you're coming in for breakfast!! There were flies everywhere. It reminded me of being in Mexico instead of in Flagstaff, Arizona. The food was mediocre at best. Very overpriced. I would not recommend this place at all!!

We couldn't believe we paid $15 a plate for a very small portion of food and for 3 cups of coffee was $11 we love the owl thing but for just passing threw I'll look for a different place

Service was fantastic, food was great, had to wait for a second because their policy states that until half or the whole party is present because we were a big party which is fine. Was sat promptly, service was amazing, and I love all the stuff on the walls! I’ll definitely be coming back and so will the rest of my party!
