As a local, I’ve watched this gem go through plenty of management changes over the years. But the new ownership? They absolutely nailed it!! One bite completely unlocked my childhood nostalgia with the exact, delicious flavors I’ve been missing! I ordered the pollo fundido square with rice and beans, and wow—everything was delicious! The quality is next-level, and I am officially hooked. I can’t wait to be a regular face around here again!
Horrible service. My food was brought to the table when I was in the restroom with my 3 year old, so I had no idea the jalapeno cream that I ordered (looked like a blob of sour cream and was served with my daughter’s food -taquitos-instead of mine) was placed on the table. When I’m charged for it, I expressed that no one told me it was brought out and while I thought it was just regular sour cream, another waitress came and pointed it out in a bowl on a dirty stack of plates...
Visiting from out of state and some friends of ours who live here took us to dinner. It was a very good experience. The food was excellent and portions were large and delicious. The special of the day was prime rib. It was very good. Tender, cooked just right and served with a bowl of au jus. A good choice.
