We are regulars at this restaurant, dining there about twice a month for the last three years while we snowbird in AZ (from Jan-May). It was our favorite Italian restaurant for the first couple years, but lately, we've noticed both the quality of food and service have both been going downhill a little. Their bread basket which used to be served warm and fresh is now often received cold and greasy; pastas are sometimes al dente and sometimes overcooked, woodfired pizza sometimes...
Went with a local Fountain Hills friend and this place is a gem! Sat at the bar for the Happy Hour , the meatballs were flavorful and the bruschetta was loaded with yummy tomatoes..very busy for a Wednesday night.. ended with the coconut cake which was to die for and enough for at least five people, and there were only two of us!!!
