Good food and a great value. The family meal is a really good deal and comes with plenty of food.
I especially liked the teriyaki chicken—it had great flavor and was probably my favorite thing we ordered.

Okay I'm going to be that guy I guess. I've paid a couple of visits here both times through the drive-thru I got the two meat plate and the three meat plate both times I got the pork and both times the pork was extremely salty so I'm guessing that's the recipe for it. Next is the teriyaki chicken I'm not understanding why your teriyaki chicken on both times is chewy and rubbery in not very edible for the most part the other visits I got the katsu chicken...

Visited Big Island Hawaiian BBQ while in Gilbert. The atmosphere was very simple and super casual, and the service was quick and straightforward.
I’ve driven by this place a million times and finally decided to give it a try — glad I did. Ordered the Katsu & BBQ Mix. The chicken katsu stood out — nice and crispy, easily my favorite of the meats. On the side, the steamed vegetables were the highlight for me.
Portions were generous, and the price point...
