From the moment we were seated, the service at Black Bear Diner in Gilbert exceeded expectations; and that was largely thanks to our server, Chase (Aiden). Despite managing a full section, he never made us feel rushed or overlooked. Quite the opposite—he took the time to make us feel genuinely welcome and at home.

We come here at least 2 x a month or more. The staff is great and very timely. The ice tea was very fresh. Burgers and entrees are deliscious. There's always something for everyone. The pies and cornbread are great as well!

Went here for a special occasion. Staff was great. They had 3 people call out so service was slow, but they tried their best. They were great where that was concerned. Food was cold
I got the steak Medium rare.. it came out almost well done. Fries were cold and mooshy. Some of us were disappointed, Others had great meals. So it really depends on what you get. Chicken fried steak meal is the best thing in the menu hands down. Best in town too.
