You see all those reviews that say there’s no bad drink here? it IS absolutely true! Every time we’ve been here we have tried something new and every single time we have been very happy. Kada is our absolute new favorite go to drink place! The staff is always so kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is very nice and welcoming.
Idk what happened to Kada but it usually is a pleasant trip. This time, the boba was not cooked, it was so hard you couldn’t chew into it. Their tea had an after taste to it. The young man who was making drinks was more into entertaining his friends sitting at the tables than serving our drinks. The girl working with him tried her best but maybe she’s new? Usually the drinks are amazing, service is great but not this past week.
I ordered an ice egg coffee,a beef banh mi, and a lemongrass chicken banh mi and everything was delicious and super authentic. I was just in Ho Chi Minh City a few months ago and this food and coffee brought me right back to that little downtown coffee shop and banh mi cart from my vacation days.
