Visited 2/27 in the late afternoon. We picked this place because my son wanted ice cream and it was close to Gilbert Regional Park, and I'm so happy it was! The ice cream was delicious, and they had so many tempting flavors. We will definitely come back again if we're in the area.
Petersen's Ice Cream offers great tasting ice cream flavors. We were able to sample a few of their flavors. The staff were pleasant and helped us learn about their menu. They informed us they list all their ice cream flavors on the menu but rotate the flavors they offer in store. I like how all their ice cream flavors have fun names, they lists what they are made up of and allergens. We learned they have their original store in Downtown Gilbert.

Best ice cream ever. We used to live in Chicago, owned a restaurant down the block from their Oak Park location, then moved to Gilbert. I have a feeling the Petersen family is following us!!!
