This place needs to replace there tables in the worst way. Soooooooo sticky from the varnish being used up or not taken care of. Owner needs to invest some money in his place. $50 bucks to two people I think you can afford it. Food is good and staff is doing the best they can. Loooong wait times.

First of all I want to say I have never left a bad restaurant review. Secondly I understand a restaurant can have an off night, but this visit has me wondering if I should call the county health inspectors.We waited more than 40 minutes for our food, it arrived completely cold. The beans were not even hot enough to melt shredded cheese, chicken was room temperature and clearly served after some period of time in the danger zone. I was offered a refund, was not offered to remake the food properly so I took the refund and threw the potentially unsafe food away. I go to the men's room to wash my hands and noticed the floor was wet, and thought nothing of it until I realized as soon as you flush the urinal the entire men's room floor floods with urine. To top it off there is no soap and no paper towels. I tell the same staff that refunded my order and the employee just sort of looked at me so I said "These are major heath code violations" to which they replied "You'll have to talk to someone way higher up than me about this"... hopefully they shut down the bathroom before more urine was tracked all over the restaurant floor.I'll never go back to this location, giving it 2 stars on service because I was able to at least get $26 of my $48 meal refunded.

They always have the best taco Tuesday deals. Lobby and toppings area were constantly being maintained while we were there. They even have a lobster taco now, which is pretty great. One of our tacos was wrong but they fixed it right away.

I know I'll never come back to this location. I've been going to a Mesa store for years and always received great service, quick, and HOT food. Here in Gilbert, the kitchen is clueless (guy in the back rubbing his nose with his gloves!!). Only the girl at the counter knew what was going on. She was holding the place together. Food took more than 30 minutes, only to come out incomplete and cold. (People that ordered 10 minutes after us got their food first) This is not the Rubios we are used to. Very disappointing.

I order a shrimp bacon burrito and got chicken instead and no one came to ask me if that was alright and didn't know till I got home and took a bite, after not knowing there was a 40 min wait till they we're telling people after I had ordered my food.

Ordered from this place tonight and the shrimp was so burnt they were basically crackers. I don't know who looked at and thought - "yeah, this is good to go!" must have been hit in the head with a brick. Had to get a full refund because that crap was basically inedible.

Me and my partner and my roommate we all went to Rubio's for a mahi-mahi burrito and the $.99 tacos so the food was good. We got our bill in and it being like $65. All three of us added it up and it came out to like 49. I do not recommend this location go to the location on Gilbert they have much better service and it's cleaner we asked to see the the mgr x2 and they still did not come out Horrible service

The cashier had an attitude and acted as though we were inconveniencing her when we ordered. No "hi" "hello" or smile. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and two out of the 4 slices had NO chicken in them whatsoever!
