This morning, I stopped by Safeway to pick up something on my way to work. As I was headed to checkout, there was one cash register open, along with the self-checkout. The customer who was at the register was leaving, so I chose to go to the register instead of self check out. I was accused of cheating about the sale avocados. There was two different sizes and the larger ones were mixed with the smaller ones and the larger ones didn't have a sign on them. The produce people didn't put a sign on the larger ones. Bad customer service. Most of the employees same to hate their Jobs there. Sad!!!
Generally I have had a good experience shopping at this Safeway, but during Valentines Day, they raised the prices of a dozen roses from $12.99 to $21.99. I'm a frequent shopper and buy roses every week or two, I was turned off that they decided to raise their prices tremendously for one day. It's not nice to do that to loyal customers when you're blatantly raising the price by almost double, not just for inflation or cost of living.
