This is the kind of restaurant that you would not expect to have such amazing food, service and atmosphere. My wife and I picked this place out of comments and pictures of the menu and it turned out to be an amazing choice. We had the Sicilian style rice ball for an appetizer, my wife had clams and white sauce And I had angel hair pasta with vodka sauce and shrimp. The meals were more than enough so we have leftovers and they were amazing. We got to met the owner Sal who settled here from New York and is an amazing individual as well. We will definitely be bringing our family and friends here in the future. Highly recommended nothing on the menu looks bad.

Very friendly, ordered take out and it was ready on time. Had the cheese pizza and it was terrific. Thin, not too much sauce, just right and not greasy! It has very little to no flop. The undercarriage was nicely cooked and it had a good crunch on the crust.

had lunch with my daughter today. service was great, food was good, but when I got home and opened my togo box with my leftovers, I found hair in my calzone. wasn't there when the server took the food to box it. ruined my leftovers... oh well otherwise would have been a better rating.

Saw this place on Check Please Arizona and had to try it with my native New Yorker wife and so happy we did. Late Saturday lunch and WOW! LOVE! Everything about this place is NYC! Garlic knots and the Caesar Salad dressing to die for. All the food I saw looked awesome and I saw nothing I wouldn’t eat. We coming back to Sals for sure!! Oh ya and the drink’s slayed!!!!!

I've been coming to Sal's for over six years at this point and it's one of my favorite restaurants and my favorite pizza place in Arizona I highly recommend the lasagna pizza, the baked ziti pasta, the baked ziti pizza, and the rice ball. They're all super good and I always come back whenever I want some nice pizza!
Outstanding NY style pizza. Pretty good toppings. Seasoned just right. Bread thickness just what I like and not too crispy. My only negatives are Pepsi products no Coke, and pretty bad, loud music. Maybe just that day/time but Dancing Queen and Mama Mia, ugh. Not enough to dock a star, I just went for the pizza. They were on a wait but plenty of bar seating and Joe was great.
Everything is great here. Even the salads are great and who likes those!? Mom and Pops are the best and when the owner and chefs come to make sure you are doing great they really do care. People have worked there for years and that care translates into care for the customers. Baked Ziti Pizza and meatball topping is my favorite. Gnocchi is real good with the vodka sauce. Wife said, cappuccino was excellent.Parking: If full around restaurant. Just park by the Orange Thoery, just a couple steps away on the other side of the access road.
The menu should set the clear expectation that you MIGHT get bread with your pasta. Great food, very popular. I’m not sure why I didn’t get bread with my pasta, even after I asked the server about it .
