Outstanding NY style pizza. Pretty good toppings. Seasoned just right. Bread thickness just what I like and not too crispy. My only negatives are Pepsi products no Coke, and pretty bad, loud music. Maybe just that day/time but Dancing Queen and Mama Mia, ugh. Not enough to dock a star, I just went for the pizza. They were on a wait but plenty of bar seating and Joe was great.
Everything is great here. Even the salads are great and who likes those!? Mom and Pops are the best and when the owner and chefs come to make sure you are doing great they really do care. People have worked there for years and that care translates into care for the customers. Baked Ziti Pizza and meatball topping is my favorite. Gnocchi is real good with the vodka sauce. I've been coming to Sal's for over six years at this point and it's one of my favorite restaurants and my favorite pizza place in Arizona I highly recommend the lasagna pizza, the baked ziti pasta, the baked ziti pizza, and the rice ball. They're all super good and I always come back whenever I want some nice pizza!
