Finally found great Chinese food in Mesa! Family owned and run, friendly, and the food was fantastic. Prices are reasonable and the portions are generous.

I recently dined at Szechuan Tasty and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. We started with the pork soup dumplings, which were delightfully soupy and bursting with flavor. The wrapper had just the right texture, making every bite enjoyable. Moving on to the main course, the Szechuan beef was a standout with its savory sauce and perfectly cooked vegetables - tender but not soggy or overcooked, with a slight crunch. However, the star of the meal was undoubtedly the spicy fish fillet. The fish was incredibly light and crispy, with a tender, flaky interior. Topped with spicy chopped dried chilies, green onion, and Szechuan peppercorn, it was a true flavor explosion. The service was both friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. While the atmosphere may have been a tad plain, the exceptional food more than made up for it. I highly recommend Sichuan Tasty for anyone looking to indulge in authentic and flavorful Sichuan cuisine.

Ordered a whole bunch of dishes and had it family style with my friends. Delicious. The shrimp and wood ear dish was amazing, the shrimps were fresh and a nice size. The string bean dish is a standard sichuanese dish that always goes well with rice.It is a small unassuming spot and a great value for the delicious food you’d get.Definitely would go back again and try new things.

OK Sichuanese food. Drove all the way out here on the rumor that this place had some relation to the long-departed local chain Szechuan Palace, aka 老四川, previously of what used to be the 44th St "Chinatown" mall and also a Chandler location that used to be on Alma School, both now long gone. The first thing therefore was to test by trying our former favorites. The 夫妻肺片, aka fuqi feipian, a cold appetizer usually made of tripe and sliced beef with scallions and roasted peanuts dressed in chili oil and sichuan pepper, was good but not what we remembered. The dumplings in chili oil were also similarly OK, and the water boiled fish was also OK, but by this point it became quite clear that this is a different restaurant from 老四川. That's fine, of course. We'd come back but for the long drive.

Ordered pickup. The nicest people super helpful. Food is incredibly good and I've tried all over Gilbert Chandler Mesa. They have items that a lot of normal places don't have like the pork green beans. Awesome experience.. so happy to have something like this so close to home.

My order was waiting for me when I arrived and I was greeted in a warm friendly manner. Very efficient.Had the Mapo Tofu and green beans vegetarian style. It came with one small rice and I ordered an additional large rice.Mapo tofu was medium spicy and was good but not the best I’ve had. Definitely good to eat with rice.Green beans were meh and had a weird flavor, not as good as some other Szechuan restaurants.They were extremely busy on a Thursday night. Popular place for a reason.Vegetarian options: They can make items meat-free like the green beans and Mapo tofu.,
