I had one bad experience today out of dozens of good experiences. My waitress did not send my order into the kitchen until I asked about my food 30 minutes later. The food came out in 10 minutes but was of low quality. It was apparent that it was made in a rush.

Everything was fine until I got my food and when I realized thy had put cheddar cheese instead of American cheese I asked nicely can thy remake my eggs I assumed thy remade my eggs correctly but thy just put the cheese on top of the eggs I told them I don’t like cheddar cheese when I called I explained I would like American cheese so I made two trips and still didn’t get the correct food. No one did I get my breakfast and the manager was very rude because I was explaining how I felt about the situation and trying to dismiss me. The whole point is that the customers are the reason why people stay in business and I should be able to express myself. He felt entitled to tell me that this is his business and I can leave and I told him I will gladly leave and I will not come back

Wow !!!! Just left the restaurant and had to post something about this incredible place. The food is really good. I had the corn beef hash breakfast plate. The table next to me had a burger and they keeped saying how good it taste. Michelle was great. Very nice and always moving. I will definitely be back and I am bringing the family. Be sure to check the hours cause it's only breakfast and lunch. 5 stars from me.

I am a regular at the 51st Ave Cafe. The staff and owner are top notch, friendly and always willing to accommodate. The food is consistent and delicious with a nice variety of options from breakfast to burgers, sandwiches and salads. The owner is local and always on site; making sure the restaurant is clean and customers are attended to. The staff is fun, friendly and hard working. They are consistently monitoring their customers to make sure they are taken care of. Highly recommended.

Walked in and placed a to-go order. The fella in charge told the kitchen what I wanted before it was even rang up. He was super nice. The lady at the register was nice too. The place looked very clean. My smokehouse burger was out in about 5 minutes. It was delicious. The meat tasted fresh. The patty was thick and cooked just the way I like it. The vegetables looked way better than I've seen from any restaurant lately. For sure in the top 10 best burgers that I've ever had. The fries were good too, but sort of plain. There was plenty of seasoning on them, but they didn't stand out like that burger did. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.
