We came in 20 minutes before lunch was over and I asked if we could still order lunch. The server said, you have 20 minutes, you order now. We were still standing at the front door. We were obviously a bother to her. She took our order, got our drinks, basically threw the soup and edamame at us with a curt warning of it's hot. Then must have left. Never saw her again. A new server only came over when I signalled we wanted to pay.
The salt and pepper shakers were grimy. The soy sauces were sticky. My four year old asked if they were going to give us clean plates ... Overall, felt unwelcome.

This delightful venue is tucked away at the corner of a strip mall, making it easy to miss.. but what a hidden gem! Everything was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious! The large fountain and koi pond were a fun touch for the atmosphere

If you're not asking for Terry then you are missing out. Great place for tepanyaki. The staff prides themselves on customer service and it shows. Open almost every holiday and have great lunch pricing! Best tepanyaki by far in Arizona.
The fried avocado on the last page of the menu IS NOT A ROLL. Otherwise great.
