Yesterday was my first visit and I could not be more pleased! The Chicago dog tasted so good to me that I wolfed it, the pizza puff was warm and filling, the souvlaki was generous and overstuffed, they have a big TV showcasing Greek musicians, and lots of pictures of Chicago so they lean into it in all directions. On top of that, Oliver is a true gentleman, kind and warm, it was a nice experience and will be a regular for me! Thank you! Besima raba!

Came here to try their gyros. There’s a lot of room for improvement. The meat was fine, but could have used a slight char. The tzatziki sauce had good flavor, but I could have used more than the small spread on the pita bread. Red onions… ugh 😩… I hate red onions. Thankfully they didn’t overpower the sandwich. Tomatoes…? A good gyros should be simple, and have two half moon slices of tomato. What I had discovered were maybe four small diced pieces buried beneath the meat. The gyros was $8.99, and the fountain drink was $3.99. The total after tax is $14.17. It’s clean, and has booth and table seats. No outdoor seating; and a few stools by the front window. When you say Chicago Gyros, and I’m from Chicago, you need to own up to that name. A lot of room to improve upon the sandwich. I might return to try the Chicago style hot dog 🌭, the baklava, and the pizza puff. We shall see. Depends on my being in the area again.
