I didn't care for the salsa all that much. The Biarria tacos were underwhelming and lacked heat. The decor was different. I enjoyed the atmosphere. But food was mediocre at best. Not sure I will return, I have been wanting to eat here for some time.

UPDATE: Today we placed an order on Uber Eats. After having a few wrong orders, and the situation outlined below, the owner told us to call the next time we ordered. So we did. We just wanted to make sure that they saw what our order was and that this time we would receive everything we ordered. We received our full order which was a very nice change. So I upgraded from one star to three stars. And after the next couple times we order, providing we get all of the stuff that we pay for, I'll continue to increase the rating.
PREVIOUS: Called to let them know a delivery was missing items. The person on the phone didn't care at all. She just said they forgot. She said there wasn't anything she could do about it. No sense of pride. No sense of customer service. You could hear the total lack of any concern in her voice. We won't be spending any more of our money there. Barrio Queen has really gone downhill and has become a lot like other restaurants that just don't care anymore.

Food came out and the cheese enchilada was like they placed a hunk of cheese in tortilla and did not melt the cheese. I ate more than half and said to our waiter look at the cheese., waiter was like oh it's not melted. It should be hot and cheese ooozing out of tortilla. I was like is this pre made and maybe chef did to melt in microwave, server was like no all is made fresh. Server is like should I do something. You tell me. Shirel my friend with me is vegan. She had a salad and you can tell the lettuce comes bagged from supplier.
We will stick with Garcia's Mexican food next time or ajo als. Was not impressed.

I went here with the family for a birthday, and it was the worst birthday dinner EVER. Every single plate we received was disgusting for 6+ people. The carne asada meat was burnt to a crisp for every meal, making the food inedible. Not to mention it was dead so there was no reason for the food to be unattended. 0/5 stars if I could. Chips were drenched in salt and the salsa was EXTRA spicy. They also forgot our child’s desert so we had to wait an additional half an hour. Don’t go here, it’s gone down hill. Pretty wild for almost a $200 dinner.

It was OK for the first time but what got me sad was my pick up order was not so cool my cup of HORCHATA was not full to the top. It was halfway full, of course, no ice FOR TO GO DRINKS but I paid $5 not for half a cup though ..I'll call tomorrow
