We love the Barrio Queen at Desert ridge, but decided to try this one. Very disappointing. In a separate room due to party size (10). Very cold and uninviting atmosphere. Server was nice but super slow in bringing drinks, apps. , taking order and service in general. Establishment should have provided additional help or more seasoned server. Food came out cold.

The al pastor torta is amazing, so good, and everything was fresh. My partner got the Carne asada burrito, and she loved it! It was one of the best places we've had for the type of food we got. We will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful experience at Barrio Queen for our dinner tonight. The patio was lovely and service terrific. Our drinks and food arrived quickly and we enjoyed every bite! Thank you!

The food was delicious. We had items from the Happy Hour menu and an Arizona burrito. It was nice sitting on the patio, especially since there was a patio heater when it got chilly. It was a little noisy due to cars roaring by on Bell Road.

So we stopped to have lunch during happy hour and I thought, oh good..this should be a little less expensive than the first time we were here, I got the 2 tacos for 5.00 option. I didn't see the price for a side of guacamole but I figured it couldn't be too much and I ordered a side to go with my tacos. Turned out they make it tableside and it was 14.00. ..it was good guacamole but seriously not 14.00 good. Never would I have imagined that a side of guacamole would be almost 3 times the price of my taco meal.Anyway, the food was good (cept my hubby complained there were way too many onions in his tacos). However with my hubby's meal and a margarita, what I thought would be a less expensive happy hour lunch still came to 75.00 with the tip.
