Tried this cafe for the first time. The service was quick and friendly. We were in and out in an hour on a Thursday morning.
The food was delicious, and we had plenty to take home for lunch.
I’m relatively new to coffee, but my hazelnut latte with oatmilk honestly might’ve been the best cup of coffee I’ve had. With or without the flavoring, I could tell the coffee was high quality.
It’s a bit pricey, so good for when you want to splurge on a yummy breakfast.

Haven’t been in a long time, and was glad I chose to stop in. Food was good but my server Ashley made my day just being welcoming and friendly. Some great offerings on the menu, and my latte was perfection. I always say good food without good service is nothing. Definitely a must try for a quality breakfast/brunch/lunch for the west valley.

Best pancakes in Phoenix! The server told us the recipe is a funnel cake batter… so decadent but sooo good!

Overpriced for what it is….
If I could give this quant little spot 10 stars I would! To set the scene: 8am on a Saturday… this place was hoppin! We were greeted as we walked in the door- nice plus. Although all staff were hustling, they presented themselves calm and in control. We were instructed to choose a seat to our liking, so we opted for a high top window view. Within seconds we had menus in hand and our drink requests made by a smiling, very courteous, enthusiastic server/waitress. She explained they roast their beans every morning and all ingredients on the menu were organic…. A HUGE PLUS! I ordered an iced caramel latte with oat milk (YUM!) and hubby ordered a double shot of espresso and a black house coffee (he’s the coffee connoisseur and I’m the food critic), which brings me to my breakfast. I’m not a huge fan of salmon for breakfast but the unusual combo of ingredients in the Norwegian Eggs Benedict had me super curious. Shockingly, it all worked beautifully and was absolutely fabulous! Well worth the $19, which included a sample of fresh fruit (ripe, I might add!), and potatoes roasted to perfection with crispy skins and the exact amount of seasoning. Hubby’s breakfast burrito had nice size chunks of fresh ingredients, the bacon cooked just right, delicious salsa, and his coffee remained filled. We were attended to frequently but not pestered. We did not feel rushed by staff even though the line was out the door as we finished. Oh, and the bathrooms were clean- yet another plus! We will be back. Outstanding job, Black and White Cafe!!

The cold brew is the worst item I have ever tasted in my 35 years of drinking coffee. truly I threw out the entire 12 oz after the first sip. even the latte couldn't be saved with cream sugar and flavor.
service is nothing special. can get the same anywhere. two people at the counter and computer was broken.

If you have not eaten here yet, you’re missing out !! This quaint cafe is high quality on every measure! The food is perfect every time. It’s family owned so they CARE. All the way down to their coffee which is excellent. I just brought my brother here for the first time and now he’s probably addicted. In a world of chains, support family-owned and local :)

This place used to be my go-to spot for laid back brunch on Wednesdays( Normally I have a day off on Wed-Thurs). Unfortunately, I have decided to move on because Every time I stopped in,Hospitality wasn't there. I wouldn't call it Racism, But How they were treating me was,As if Wary of People look a like me to be here.Hopefully I still think I get it wrong even though My feelings were super Uncomfortable !!
As a result, I came away with another go-to spot.
Of course They've been displaying relatively much better manners to me than the way it was here.
From the look of it, This place gradually declining now. Far more 1or 2 stars reviews compare to 2 years ago. That what I was expecting though, I'm not surprised at all.

Sat down right away. Iced coffee was yummy. Food was really good! Loved the pancakes!
It was a little pricey, but I’d go back again!
Great food but never actually available, i try so many times to get breakfast but its always out of, i feel stupid keep coming back and getting denied,, and we are talking 9 am 10am there is never any breakfast available, THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND RUN SO POORLY OWNER MUST HAVE ZERO BIZ SENSE!!!! and no one seems to care about it. Like i said i feel dumb keep driving there and get denied… There is no breakfast place in the world that runs out of breakfast by lets say 845 am , So the owner must be cheap and only orders a certain amount of food each day … what a stupid business plan I bet there is many that get denied service each morning.
