Went for breakfast. We had a reservation for 10am and arrived at 9:59 and was told to wait outside until 10... kinda weird but whatever. This place is a nightclub/bar that they convert into a restaurant during the day. The food is more bar style with a couple normal options. Mostly finger food. They advertise a Cuban coffee but according to our server the espresso machine has been down so they don't have any coffee options. Its redbull or soda for breakfast. Kinda pricey for the style food you are getting but I guess since its at westgate they charge a bit more. Not a place I would come back to for breakfast.

So I didn’t even eat here let me start with that! I went here after The Lola on a Saturday night at 10 pm and had a drink and watched the UFC fights with my homegirl and this was both of our first time here. Our waitress at the Lola said to go explore, so we did! We got in and the staff was lovely and we waited to order drinks at the bar and went to later drink then outside on the patio. After we finished them we ask the security guard Cheddar (?) if we should stay or where should we go to see and enjoy Westgate and he told us to come back in an hour when it gets busier, so we did. We went to Salt and Fat Tuesdays and I got in it and we drank our waters because it was 10 pm and we’re leaving at 11 pm. We went back to Bodega at 10:40 pm to enjoy the last 20 minutes of our night there and that’s where the night took a turn. The bald, Guardians of the Galaxy looking security guard with the fattest beard ever chose to give me the hardest time with my ID. He took it to scan, held it for six minutes, and proceeded to tell me “Take out your phone”. Because he’s five times bigger than me I did without hesitation and unlocked it, like he said, and he snatched it from me and went through my settings, then gave it back to me and demanded “Log into your personal information”. I’ve never done that and yes, I am the owner of this phone maybe I should’ve understood what he was saying and knew what to do, but I didn’t. I asked him for clarification and he repeated “Log into your personal information” as if I was an incompetent person and looked at me like I was stupid. I looked at my friend, confused, and she suggested we leave. I told the bouncer we’re just going to leave, he then took MY ID and said “Come with me” and started walking off into the parking lot not caring if I was following or not. My ID is out of state and I do look young, but I’m 23 and I was in this club an hour ago. Confused, I’m running after him because he has MY PROPERTY in his hands and he walks to a police car and gives him my ID and says “It scans but she looks younger than 21”, now this is serious because why are you involving the police. I tell the bouncer “Thank you, have a good night” and he looks at me like I’m stupid. The police officer waits for him to walk away and explains to me he does this all the time and not to worry. The police officer then kindly tells me to not come back here after I told him this was my first time and I didn’t mean any trouble and can offer him my passport because I live nearby if need be. After I get cleared from the police officer’s iPad he tells me I can go back in line and I tell him “No thanks, I’m going home there’s no point in going somewhere with someone like that controlling the line”. I tell him thank you and leave. I have lived here for a year and a couple months and have never felt so targeted. There were multiple times where the bouncer could have just said “You can’t enter”. Instead, he chose to build his own ego and make me look stupid. I was understanding and kind and instead he continued to abuse his “power” and build his ego. I had fun at Westgate until this moment and The Bodega will never see me again because I don’t know how you could employ someone like that.

Only came here for UFC fight. Got hungry and ordered the chicken pesto panini and then they put a glaze on top of it which makes it a sloppy sticky mess.. I'm no culinary expert but if you're gonna put balsamic on a sandwich out it on the inside and You can just taste the fake chicken here. So gross that you pay 19 dollars or whatever and get some crappy piece of chicken

My family traveled 2 1/2 hours down here to try a brunch place near Westgate to Surprise Celebrate with me for my Birthday. Unfortunately our experience was less satisfying from previous experience 2 of us coming from waitressing our server looked so annoyed being our server and was very unattentive, and no smile. Our food and drinks came way later after ordering and like 20 minutes for drinks and another hour for our food. We were there for almost 2 hours and it was Not that busy they had only add 2-3 more tables of customers. We had even given the managers our concerns but he was even not interested in following up with the concern compd us 1 meal which could have been rectified if our waitress asked how our food was or drinks? I am one to give countless tries and patience but everyone there just seemed so non hospitable. The atmosphere was bright but the music was So Loud like we were still night time outing, if they toned a little down maybe the waitress would have gotten our orders correct and managers could have heard our concerns. Maybe future visit as for now not going back. Sorry

Wouldn’t call this a Cuban restaurant at all as nothing on the menu was “Cuban”. The nachos were one step above Poverty Nachos (as the internet calls them) and the service was so slow. The patio was very nice but loud. We did go on an stadium event day, but that's arguable the entire point of the restaurant and Plaza it sits in.

Don’t even bother if you’re part of the lgbt community. Bouncers will find any excuse not to let you in.

I went to Bodega before the Morgan Wallen concert and Bella made this experience PERFECT. It was crazy busy and she made sure my 6 person party was given the booth we wanted. She continued to provide excellent quick service and got us in and out so we could make it to the concert in time. 100% would come back and ask for her again, amazing experience!
