This restaurant is PERMANENTLY CLOSED! We made a reservation online for yesterday (11/11/25) and arrived at the location which is undergoing a change to a new restaurant scheduled to open December 1 - new owner seems very nice.

WE MADE A RESERVATION AND EVEN CONFIRMED IT THE DAY BEFORE AND WE SHOWED UP TO YOUR LOCATION AND IT WAS CLOSED COMPLETELY. NO SIGN ON THE DOOR. DOORS LOCKED AND LIGHTS OFF. CLOSED. WE FLEW IN FROM BOCA RATON FL TO MEET A DOCTOR FOR A BUSINESS DINNER AND HE CHOSE THAT PLACE JUST FOR IT TO BE CLOSED. THAT WAS A BAD LOOK AND WE ARE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS EXPERIENCE. NOW WE DONT EVER WANT TO GO BACK WHEN WE COME TO AZ NEXT. THIS NEEDS FIXED FOR YOUR FUTURE CLIENTS.

This restaurant is closed. OpenTable should know that. I found out when I called the restaurant to try to increase the party size after open table tries to charge me for that increased reservation size. Pretty big oversight OpenTable!!!

This family owned Italian restaurant hosted by the owner. Nick and his wife have been a main stay for our family for 10 years now. We did get to go on the last night they were open. We didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Nick and to everyone, but they were super busy. They always remembered us my name and always an awesome experience. It was the final weekend but it was not a great experience. Had reservations but they were totally mismanaged and waited another 45 minutes to be seated. You would think they would offer a free appetizer or desert, nope! Then the server was crazy slow with the food and the food was cold and mediocre at best. This was a good place but clearly they don't care now that they are closing to move to Italy.

We've counted this establishment as one of our favorite Italian restaurants and the recent experience was just another great/special evening to celebrate Bottega's food, staff and overall great west valley dining locals.

Today was a bittersweet meal as the restaurant is closing it's doors at the end of the day today. The family is moving back to Italy. As the owner said, it was not a goodbye, but a so long. Here's to wishing them all the best. Thank you for the hospitality, phenomenal food and a wonderful environment.

Sadly, we were told that Sunday October 19 would be the restaurant's last day. We will miss Nick and Christine De Lello as they move to Italy. Many great memories and food were had over many years of great and neighborly service at Bottega! Bon Voyage!

The food is always fresh and tastes great! Nick stopped by to say hello and make sure things were going well. We had a good dinner but our server didn't pay close attention to us or the ordering. Entrees came out in the middle of our appetizers, there was no room for plates, and he never came back to offer coffee or desserts. We still gave Will a nice tip but he needs some additional training.

Great true authentic Italian cuisine. Hard working staff, pleasant atmosphere and outdoor patio allowing dogs. Would recommend to friends and family as a favorite Italian eatery.

Was not in love with the recommend dish.
Ordered the pesto truffle pizza, was there truffle on there?
Not sure.
Ended up asking for balsamic reduction to drizzle over the pizza! Yum
I think feta or goat cheese would compliment it as well
Or for my tastes more truffle flavor.
I don’t like plalenta but I tried too. The sauce was yummy that would be good on the pizza ! The meal my partner ordered had ground up sausage in there It left me feeling like Where’s The meat.
We still had fun .
It started getting loud around 6:45

THE GNOCHI WERE THE BEST I EVER HAD -- THEY REALLY ARE LIKE LITTLE PILLOWS. OH IIS A TERRIFIC SERVER AND ALWAYS MAKES US FEEL WELCOME AND SPECIAL AND REMEMBERS THE WAY I LIKE EVERYTHING.
