All of the food is delicious and the wait staff is attentive and pleasant.

Conveniently located at the mall, NYC themed decor and sizeable space. Staff were not overly engaging but polite. Coffe was hot and fresh. I chose the All-American breakfast I believe it was called. Ordered my eggs over medium, and they were barely over easy. The two slices of bacon, though cooked, were very limp and greasy. The two sausage links, though flavorful, were very overcooked. There could have been more hashbrowns on a plate served with three eggs, but those on the plate were cooked well, just not served very warm.
The other dish ordered was the chicken fried steak. It was obviously deep fried and way too long. It literally was curled up. It was tough to cut. Again, eggs were undercooked and hash browns a skimpy portion.
Our server came by once to ask if we wanted anything else.
We both agreed it was unnecessary to visit again.

Normally the sandwiches are really good, very generous and the presentation of course is very nice. This is a different time of day than we normally go and we took carry out. Normally we dine in. Sandwiches we're nothing like the picture and nothing like we've had before, disappointing. We were bragging about how great the Reubens were and my niece paid for the sandwiches, $100 worth of sandwiches. She was not impressed.. they were more like a $15 sandwich. We got a corned beef Reuben, a pastrami reuben, and two Monty Christos. I'm just thinking maybe it was the night crew shift I just don't know. Also my niece has waitressed a lot of her life. This was at Arrowhead mall and they were hardly any people in the restaurant. We counted five people in the back and no one came out to agree this like people were right there at the doorway the entryway and never said "hey I'll be right with" Even to the point of walking right by us behind the counter,j until I asked do we pick up our food at the pickup or do we pick it up at the cash register..it was just odd.
I'm not giving up I'm just saying it could have been better.

Loved Chompies in the past, but lately the quality has diminished significantly. Ordered the mac n cheese and was very disappointed withe look and taste...took one bite and spit it out. The pastrami was really fatty to the point couldn't finish. It'll be a long time, if ever, before going back.

Cancelled my order with no explanation. I called to place a pick up order after they cancelled and no one answered. Never ordering from here again.

Food is ok, but much of the staff clearly HATE their jobs. When I went to pick up a to go order, the staff seemed annoyed they had to end their personal conversation to help a customer. I’ve seen this attitude a lot in the area lately, so maybe it’s just that people are miserable here.

The food was simply put, okay. We didn't get bagles. We should have because that's what they're known for. That's my fault. If there's a next time, I'll stick to what I love l, the everything bagle.

The restaurant seemed dark and dated. It could use more light and some fixing up. The bathroom also was in definite need of a spruce up too. It wasn't dirty, it just felt like a really old worn out bathroom. The food was good and our server was excellent!

I went there this past Saturday night 12/14 at around 7:15pm for a phone takeout order of a brisket sandwich on rye with a knish. When I got the order the sandwich looked fine in the box but when my wife took it out at home, there was hardly any meat on it. I paid $22 for a full sandwich Chompies advertises on are mile high sandwiches. This was nowhere near a mile high. I drove all the way from Goodyear to Glendale because my wife who is from New York was craving a brisket deli sandwich. She was very disappointed. She said the knish was fine but again the sandwich had no meat on it. I paid $22 for all bread. My wife said she was better off for me getting a double cheeseburger from Burger King instead that would have more meat on it. I picked up my order about 7:15- 7 20. PM The deli closes at 8:00. What did you guys run out of Brisket? And if you did, why didn't you tell me I would have picked another sandwich where you had meat? I expect the owner operator or managing partner to get me another mile high sandwich with meat on it. I'll come down to pick it up.
Very disappointed.

Reminiscent of a New York Jewish deli. Very good food: latkes, pierogi, and matzo ball soup. Nicely decorated to remind you of New York City. Service is good and quick.

This is our weekly dig. I don't think I've had a bad meal in the 2 years we've been going. The service is amazing, the staff are friendly and polite. The pricing is on point for the food and drink, too!
