In a world of chains, this place is a legit local business. The service tops anything you've experienced...attentive, charismatic, and friendly. The owner was there working the room...taking the time to tell stories and background of the pictures adorning the wall.
The food was clearly homemade. While it could use a little seasoning and refinement, I was so happy with the pasta and the cook on the salmon and chicken.
Enjoyed the rustic minestrone and the housemate tiramsu. The flourless chocolate cake was a bit heavy so best shared with 2-3 people. While I wish the wine by the glass selections was more robust, the bottles were were very reasonable and looked enticing.

Fantastic little Italian restaurant in Glendale - wonderful owner and chef/host, Ernesto. Best tiramisu in the Valley. Very reasonable prices, large portions. Everyone enjoyed their meals - would definitely visit again! Owner is from Eastern coast of Italy. 👍👍👍👍👍

From walking up you may think this resturaunt isn't anything amazing, however the food and service are outstanding. The best pasta I've ever had. The pink sauce is to die for. Phenomenal calamari. I would drive out of the way to get here again and again! Service is absolutely top notch! Give it a try! This place deserves to be packed every night.

Im confused on how this place has 4.6 stars. I'd give this place a zero their food is so bland. My wife's Ceasar salad had more flavor than my chicken marsala and my daughters tortellini. Would not recommend unless you like flavorless bland food.

Been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and did not disappoint. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, pasta cooked to perfection and served with warm bread. Ordered the Chicken Piccata, and Ravioli with side salad and clam chowder. The atmosphere was relaxed with a singer singing some of my favorite classics. Will definitely be returning.

Food was good and they had an amazing wine list. The server was very nice but seemed to not have a lot of knowledge about all of the food items. And also found out she had not tried the special of the day which seemed weird. How was the server going to sell the special of the day if they haven't been offered to try it?

Nice hidden gem. Didn’t know I would enjoy it so much. Good food and service. Very unassuming from the outside but great atmosphere on the inside.

We had a craving for Italian and Dolce Vino is just down the road located, like many restaurants now, in a strip mall.
The decor inside is very neutral. Not Buca over the top or Nonna's kitchen homey, it could be any moderate restaurant except for the large piano in the corner and bar across from the entrance.
There was an elderly gentleman singing standards by the piano and we were seated directly in front of him at first. Our server/bartender quickly moved us to a quieter table near the back.
For a wine bar, the wine menu was a bit light, but we selected a very drinkable Tempranillo, Viña Temprana.
The food menu has the basics, nothing spectacular or unique.
We always try the Calamari when it's on a menu. This one was not my favorite. I like the rings and tentacles with a flour/corstarch/baking powder batter. This was more of a tempura-like batter on steaks/fingers with not much flavor, although cooked perfectly.
The soups, Minestrone and Clam Chowder, that came with our entrees also had very mild flavor, but a decent amount of vegetables.
The Manicotti had a very nice, bright marinara and was generously filled with cheese, although we sort of expected a meat sauce like many Italian American restaurants have.
My build your own rigatoni/sausage/pesto was another miss. It first came out with red sauce, that our sever had corrected in under 3 minutes. Unfortunately that didn't help the dish. The sausage was sliced discs with no caramelization and the pesto was dull and overly oily.
The highlight of the meal was the flourless chocolate cake. It was dense, with a deep fudge and dark chocolate flavor, everything I would expect.
I would come back in the future for affordable, drinkable wine and dessert, but skip the entree.
I had an amazing birthday celebration at Dolce Vino! Our server was incredibly sweet, and the atmosphere was so much fun with live jazz music. The food was absolutely delicious. The only downside was that our bottle of white wine wasn't kept chilled but it didn’t ruin our experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem – I can’t wait to go again!
I love this place!! A grumpy trash talking old Italian man owns and runs the establishment and the food is great! I love it! Perfect perfect perfect!
Lasagna and manicotti, side of meatballs dinner salads with blue cheese and blue cheese crumbles, really liked the radish, croutons would be cool. Food was to go an hour before closing. Piping hot plenty of sauce, fresh parmesan, not packets, fantastic texture for the pasta and the best to go tins with cardboard lids, no plastic yay! Food was easy honest 5 star. Staff was friendly, looking forward to wine tasting last Wednesday of the month.. they need someone to pay the piano they have. Anyone somebody
Ask about the GOAT Ernesto and his dragon tattoo!
P.S. The food is amazing 12/10
