From the moment I walked in it was all so familiar and I had never been there before. Beautiful smiling faces greeting me at the door. 8 am on a Thursday morning, mariachi music playing on the jukebox and the smells of home creeping from the kitchen. Let's say I was not disappointed at all. Then the food came. ??My expectations were exceed.10 Stars Don Chuey!!10 because I just died and came back for more

Nice little joint, I always go when it's pretty dead but I have passed by and seen this place packed so they must be doing something right. I advise all, to check it out.

I went after work for Menudo and a Modelo. The menudo was excellent! They also make homemade tortillas with your order. Also, the server was just as good. I head no idea about the Karaoke. I walked in to very loud but very good music. All of the singers there are awesome. What a sweet surprise!

We came to have brunch at a Mexican restaurant. To start, the chips were stale. The server said all the chips are stale because they leave them out. The salsa was only jalapeños and habeneros was way too hot. The food had no flavor. Extremely small portions for the cost. Coffee was old and cold. I eat almost anything, and this food was not edible. The service and ambiance ok.

My first and last time ordering from this place. The menudo had a horrible odor and had white stuff floating around in it. I have ordered menudo from several restaurants and not one time did my order smell like feces or have small questionable white particles floating around in it. I had to throw the stuff away and light an incense to rid my home of that awful stinch.

We were here at 4pm. There were 8 of us. 5 adults and 3 kids. We were the only one in the restaurant and the service was painfully slow. The kids ordered nuggets and fries( I know right?) but they didn’t get they’re food at the same time. The food came out slowly. 30 minutes from order to the first plate being served. Our food was getting cold waiting for everyone to get their food. The food was so overpriced! I ordered the 2 orders of (4) birria tacos $18 (each) and found out it didn’t come with rice and beans. For that price. 2 orders of nuggets and fries. 2 aguas and 2 sprites came to $78 fkn dollars!!!! Are you kidding me. It was hot all through the restaurant. No A/C or even an evap cooler. This was the worst Mexican restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Stay away unless you wanna get robbed for average quality Mexican food. I thought I would give a local place a chance. And yes I am Mexican. No volveré nunca. Ni madres!

We had platillo chuy...the meat was not good and gave the chicken and shrimp a wierd taste. To drink I had a hibiscus water and it was watered down. I then ordered a mangorita and the alcohol was too strong couldn't taste the mango at all. We did let the waitress know about the meat but nothing was done about it. We paid 62.00 for a plate we did not eat...never again!

Place has screen TVs but were off on Sunday. Not sure why. Food was fresh n hot and served quickly. Waitress was prompt. Meals are pricey but delicous! $60 for 2 menudos and quesadilla comes with beans and rice. Bowls are huge too plus corn or flower tortillas. YumKid-friendliness: not a big kid menu but chicken nuggets and fries and burgers are available.
