This place is fantastic, the food is incredible, absolutely out of this world , it taste just like my own mother's cooking- I'm heartbroken that your closed , please open soon,it's not often you find real cuisine,and real good food.

Went to try this place for the first time. They are located right next to where I reside..... They are GONE! Health inspection notice and all!!! Soo sad, finally wanted fish, and I had to search elsewhere! Ugh, good luck in your new home!

I drove all the way to this location from Laveen to see a notice on the door saying "close will reopen tomorrow". I figured okay, strike one but since it's black owned I will give it another shot tomorrow. The following day I went back ordered fish, shrimp, and greens. I immediately noticed the menu was a bit pricy. That annoyed me, but I went ahead placed my order. The shrimp was already breaded shrimp that you just throw in the fryer. The fish was bland with no flavor. My greens were alright but I've had better. I will just say I paid $20 bucks for my order but it was not worth $5 dollars. I wish I had a picture of my meal to post so you could seen the mess. All I can say is it was not worth my 35min drive that I did twice. I will not be back!

Out of all the one star reviews I found I’m laughing lol I am never going to talk down on a business like this it is what reminds me of home. Anytime I want some fried fish this is where I’m coming I had a small issue but I will respectfully address it on my order the next time I place an order because the food was amazing after all I want to see Dorsey Bs expand like ATL wings and Lo Lo’s we need more black owned business out here in Arizona with a touch of that good southern comfort. A lot of them one star reviews petty Lol

Food has potential! Has a bit of salt on most food but has potential. Peach cobbler needs a bit more sugar but very tasty. Love the cool aid and the girl at the counter was amazing and friendly! Fish was fried a bit long but good. Shrimp was over cooked but good seasoning also.
The food is really good. Make sure you order ahead because I had to wait an hour for my order.

I got the cod and it was bomb ?, Mac and cheese on point, the dessert was very sweet, the banana pudding, and peach cobbler had a taste of something too much in it, couldn't taste the peach.

I was very impressed with this place. The inside needs some look appeal and the area is undesirable. However, do not let these things fool you. The food is Great. Its hard to find restaurants that sell Red snapper. That is my favorite fish. I had red Snapper, Mac and cheese (wish it had more shredded cheese on it) but over all it was good. The Greens were AMAZING ( I dare say they might be better than mine ). I also ordered the banana pudding; I'm not a big fan of banana pudding but this one wasn't to bad it was more of a whip than a pudding. I asked for a hot link and ended up with a hot link dinner plate. Its ok I ate it the next day it was still good.
